"The shoot started with a focus on my butt and moved to my tits, but as I relaxed, the sensual moments between me and the frame started blossoming and the focus on my prime sexual features started to slide down my spine through me fully. I tried to capture the fullness of the experience: the feeling of being utterly content in the suppleness of my feminine physique."

With Georgia_L's latest contribution, she takes a rather stripped-back approach to her folio and proves with absoloute certainty that she is the prettiest daisy we ever did see. What a bunch of lucky ducks we are, We get to spend a day and a night with Georgia_L in her most sacred of sanctuaries - her bedroom.

"As I began this shoot, I wasn't sure how many poses or angles I could think of but as my creativity grew, I found myself draped in silk, lace, flowers, pearls, and Shibari which are all my favourite things; capturing my true personality and essence of my sexuality."

"This shoot was all about freedom. I shot in my backyard at home in Alice Springs which is one of the places I feel most comfortable and free. I was able to experiment more with my shots because I felt 'at home' and felt like I really got a sort of rhythm going with my shoot. I tried to capture the flowers, grass, brickwork and Alice sky with mirrors in my shoot, hoping to capture the surroundings that have helped shape who I am. I approached the shoot like a song, playing my favourite music while I was shooting and letting the words and sounds inspire me and help me pose fluidly."

"Doing this shoot was very challenging as I live in such an open area. Fortunately when I was taking the photos my neighbour was mowing his lawn and got a front row seat to the shoot. I had to go over and explain myself and what I was doing outside taking photos of myself and he said "At least I was a witness to the spectacular show". Always love showing off my naked body to the elderly neighbours."

"I really wanted to show off my personality and my spirit in this shoot. So immediately I thought sparkles! I really wanted to use ballet as a strong theme throughout my shoot. At first it was pretty awkward but after I got the hang of manipulating the light and mirrors I was able to get comfortable with positions that displayed my best features. After I got a few shots I was happy with I was able to relax which really helped me let loose. I shot myself was so much fun I would absolutely recommend to anyone. Even if you are incredibly body conscious it may help you see how beautiful your body is. It certainly helped me!"

"I wanted this shoot to express a natural rawness. I had just gotten my period and felt awful. My skin was a mess, I had been crying all morning and was in a very sensitive state. Instead of trying to make myself look better with make-up, obsessing over my aesthetic, I instead decided to just go with how I was feeling and looking at that moment. I wanted it to be me. Real. Untouched. I was so okay with how the shoot turned out. I expected to be offended by my body, and my bad mood to be exacerbated. But instead I looked okay. And so I felt okay too. My mood is so often dependent on how I feel about my body, so to be able to have used my body in a way that improved my mental well-being, was pretty cool. The blue sheets of plastic and bubble wrap were a part of some decorations I was working on for a rave that weekend. So, I decided to use those in the shoot. I had been using lots of spray-paint that day, hence the paint all over my hands and somehow all over my ass too! I think it adds a nice touch."

"The shoot was enjoyable and fun (but I always have fun in whatever I'm doing), and because I work and don't get to shoot til mid afternoon I'm always chasing the light. So I spent 2 afternoons exploring different ways to shoot my body, hopefully for the viewer's pleasure. I find the experience liberating and empowering. I am enjoying seeing my body in a less typical dress but rather undress. I am embracing most things that come my way. I have always been a little less ordinary and I have a zest for life. Thanks for looking."

"My shoot was quite simple; I was just having fun around my apartment, which has great natural lighting during the day. I really wanted to do my shoot at a gym but I didn't have a private space to use. I felt very comfortable doing the shoot because I spend a lot of time naked at home anyway! After the first 50 photos or so I started running out of ideas for photos so I just began taking lots of silly shots and holding up different household objects. I had a lot of fun with it especially after I stopped posing and just starting going with the flow. I started feeling less and less self-conscious about how my curves and fat rolls looked as I took more photos. This experience honestly made me feel even more comfortable with my naked body."

"The shoot itself was a growing experience and I was able to develop ideas in which to showcase my body which had never been something I had never done before. I took inspiration from the tattoos I had intended to get and therefore took to painting my body to reflect the beauty of my it leading to the array of flowers that I chose to paint on my chest. The idea in practice was more difficult than I had anticipated which lead to my boyfriend having to paint most of the flowers which was awkward in my body positioning for it that made for an enjoyable experience."

"I really enjoyed doing this shoot, I took it in the forest because it is where I'm most comfortable with myself and feel more at peace than any other time. Since it rained a lot out there the past few days there were a lot of leeches, I wish I'd taken photos of them, at one point I had 6 of them on me! It was definitely a bit weird at first but I don't think I mind them so much after that experience. At the start I was quite nervous as I've never been too comfortable with my own body, but after a while I began to really enjoy it, and I couldn't get enough of it."

"This is the second shoot that I have done for I Shot Myself. The theme for this one was supposed to be a commentary on my life at the moment, being two different people and how they relate to each other. The normal version of myself can be pretty reserved and lacking in confidence, but the work version of myself is better at taking risks and not holding back! I tried to go from being myself, without make up, without tan, without clothes, to the work version that tries to depict a fantasy and play on what people can believe is sexy or flirty. Space-wise, I still had to use my apartment, because it was difficult finding an outside area that I could be alone in, but also warm! Winter, right? What a killer. I actually found this one a bit harder to do. Filming it at the same time made me a little bit more self conscious and I started looking at the way my body looked from different angles, a lot more. Altogether though, it was still fun, and I'm pretty happy with the way it all turned out!"

"I like to have boundaries, so I can cross them. Do my pictures creep you out? I've been taking naked photos of myself for years and it doesn't really thrill me any more so for this I decided I'd amp it up a bit. I quite like my vagina and I've always wanted to see what it really looks like so I borrowed some things from a friend who's into BDSM, and here's what I did. Like it, hate it, I don't care, who are you to judge?"

"Ma premiere fois etait pour un calendrier moto sexy de noel, les photos etaient tres belle, je recommencerais sans probleme et avec plaisir! J`aime quand les gens aime mes photos, cela me fais prendre un peu confiance et c`est gratifiant. / The first time I ever did a shoot was for a sexy Christmas bike calendar, the photos were very beautiful. I would do this again without any problem and with pleasure! I like when people like my photos, it makes me take a little confidence and it is rewarding."

"The shoot went really well, I had a lot of fun. I have never taken photos like this before. It is interesting to be able to manipulate the image, light, poses and everything else around yourself. At first I was unsatisfied with my photos, but after a few shots I realized it is the issues I have with my body showing up rather than my body's apparent issues itself."
