"I love experimenting with colour and light. When I first became aware of ISM I loved how it promotes the beauty of 'real women' - rather than the unreal woman of stereotypical porno magazines. I found this liberating, and I also thought that I could grab this opportunity to put my creative spark to use. It all came together by observing my surroundings, collecting colours that stimulated me and made me feel calm and sensual. Purple and Aqua - gloves, lights, sweaters. Masturbating with the cold touch of the glove, feeling my body wet and soft in the dim purple wonderland of my lover's lotus flower. Milky smooth and oh so groove we slid in and out of our interlude with the coldest gentlest touch in our aqua parade of honey bliss. Spiraling in a warp of glory mayhem, everything tickling - sharp, bold and soft. Like the lotus. Aquapurple heaven."

"I'm back in my homeland and hanging out at my best friend's apartment. She has the most amazing bathroom with great light and a clawfoot tub, it's so nice to turn the little space heater on and run the hot water to relax for a bit. The day of this shoot was cold and rainy with no sun, but I don't mind the dreary weather. I find wet cold days in spring to be relaxing and inspiring. I've been feeling sad the last few months of winter but doing this shoot helped me see some light in my life. Doing ISM makes me feel empowered and sexy as all hell. I need to escape the dark corners of my mind and taking sexy photos of myself really helps with that. Not everything is bad and I am happy to be alive. I'm proud of myself, not just my body but how I feel about myself when I'm taking the photos. It's like I'm having a sex with myself and that's cool. After my bath I went to smoke a cigarette in front of the window, I doubt people could see me but there were some windows across the way that made me feel like I was being watched. But I like that feeling of being watched. If I was, they got quite the show."

"La experiencia fue muy liberadora, al principio senti mucha resistencia sobre todo a fotografiar ciertos lugares. La camara sirvio de instrumento para poder aceptar y redescubrir mi cuerpo. Creo que es un ejercicio muy interesante y que todo aquel que lo realice va a obtener algo de la experiencia. Fue muy divertido. / The experience was very liberating, at first I felt some resistance especially to photograph certain places. The camera served as an instrument to be able to accept and rediscover my body. I think it's a very interesting exercise and everyone who does it will get some of the experience. It was fun."

"I first found out about I Shot Myself through a poster walking home from work. It caught my eye as the design was very friendly. Upon receiving the camera I felt slightly hesitant as I did not have a full understanding of ISM and the amount of photos I needed to take seemed very overwhelming. For the first couple of days I only took 2 photos, I was still unsure if I wanted to go through with it. On the last day I shot all my photos, I thought to myself - "Why not!?" and gave it a go. I am so happy with the results. If I was given another chance to, I would do it again in a heartbeat! I love taking photos, especially of myself. I love how I was able to express myself creatively and naked! This project is amazing and I would definitely encourage others to participate."

"I adore animals, so when the birds outside came to visit looking for food while I was doing my set, I had to take the opportunity to take some photos. I had a tonne of fun making this. I used to have a lot of issues with body confidence, but the more I do things like this, the happier I become with myself."

"Shooting for I Shot Myself has been so much fun! Once you get into a flow nothing can stop you. After first taking some photos outside I was filled with so much confidence and joy, I spent an hour dancing around the house and I think that alone tells you something :) Plus I also learnt some new things about how to take some great shots! No regrets."

I had such a lovely time, starting out I was looking only to take sexy shots and then I came to the realisation that the ones where I wasn't necessarily oozing sex appeal were my favorites, the ones where you can see my hair and stretchmarks are the most empowering. "This was fun and interesting as up until now I've been unaware of how my body actually looks naked, as I'm still adjusting to the Melbourne weather (I also broke my full length mirror a year ago and have yet to bother replacing it). Until now, face and minimal tit has been it for me. I was also unaware how reflective I've become."

"I really enjoyed the shoot - it was so confidence-boosting! The natural light and HD camera made me feel really confident about my appearance so I had fun playing around with different poses and positions. It was definitely a challenge to get good full-body and butt shots but I learnt some new selfie techniques like holding the camera with my feet! I love that I was able to be fully in control of the shoot as not just the model but the photographer. It was fun and comfortable and I'd love to do another. :)"

"This shoot was quite unexpected but a lot of fun (as usual, I ended up doing something very random from what I originally planned). I planned to make a meal on the beach and do photos with that but at one point a piece of my mirror broke off and as you can see, I got side tracked. But I'm super happy with what turned out. I've never done a shoot with absolutely no makeup on so I thought it was time, as I am a big believer of self acceptance. I always feel very humbly confident after a shoot for ISM which is a massive boost to my day. All I can say is that the female body is something to be proud of and I'm so blessed to have worked with such beautiful people again. Thanks guys!"

"I was so excited for the second "IShotMyself". I went to the beach with my vintage swimsuit, it was sooooo beautiful there and I really enjoyed it! A man with his dog walked past and I think he was curious about what I was doing..... I didn't mind too much, it was a bit exciting that he could see me actually. The day was full of such beautiful light and not as cold as I expected! It was a lot of fun to be creative in nature. I want to do so many more, I love IShotMyself!"

"I wanted this folio to capture a casual, playful, and intimate look at the place where I spend most of my time exploring my sexuality - my bedroom. During the shoot I wore my favourite pair of vintage 1950's underwear and explored posing with some of my favourite things: mirrors, flowers, books. This folio sees me in the place where I am at my most comfortable and confident. I enjoyed getting creative with my poses and taking photos with my feet."

"For my second shoot, I focused on the idea of nourishment. I tried to convey my feelings around this through using fruit and custard. I chose strawberries, cherries, raspberries and custard because they are such sensual and beautiful foods. By pouring custard over my body I became more aware of my curves, lines and bumps. The whole shoot really reminded me of my femininity and the power of taking care of my body and nourishing it."
