"Running around the house naked in the afternoon sunlight eating peanut butter and jelly sams, that is how I'll remember my ISM experience. Full of laughs and not to mention running around butt naked in an abandoned factory that is, might I add, a popular skater hang out which I soon found out!!! Ahaha!"

"I wanted to experiment with makeup, so I did a fairytale inspired shoot with both a princess/fairy look, and a darker witchy, intimidating look. I personally love costume, character and makeup design, so being able to play around with two classic juxtaposing themes was a lot of fun. Hopefully my idea is something a bit different to some of the other shoots on ISM, but still portrays the natural beauty of the female body and highlights the importance of body positivity! This shoot was loads of fun and gave me a chance to take my photos to the next level. Heading outside to a relatively public park both gave me the freedom to take more artistic and variable photos, but also brought the challenge of public nudity and body confidence. Despite this, I really enjoyed my second shoot, playing with a new concept, and taking some cool photos (even sitting in a freezing cold lake was worth it for some awesome snaps)."

"Bij de aanvang van mijn gap year had ik mezelf voorgenomen om allerlei nieuwe dingen te proberen. Ik had nog nooit eerder naaktfoto's van mezelf genomen voor publicatie en dus was ik benieuwd naar deze ervaring. Bij het nemen van de eerste foto's voelde ik me wat onwennig, maar na de eerste 50 shots voelde ik me avontuurlijker en zelfzekerder worden. Het was een hele uitdaging om voortdurend afwisselende en interessante shots te nemen. Ik heb er nu wel twee nieuwe vaardigheden bij: ik kan met mijn voeten foto's nemen en een spiegel vasthouden. Ishotmyself heeft me een enorme boost gegeven in mijn zelfvertrouwen. De volgende stap is naar een naaktstrand gaan! / At the start of my gap year, I had planned to try all sorts of new things. I had never taken nude pictures of myself before publication and so I was curious about this experience. When taking the first pictures, I felt a bit awkward, but after the first 50 shots I felt more adventurous and more confident. It was a great challenge to constantly take alternate and interesting shots. I now have two new skills: I can take photos with my feet and hold a mirror. Ishotmyself has given me a huge boost in my self-confidence. The next step is to go to a nude beach!"

"The shoot was the most fun I've had with myself in a long time. I loved being in charge of what I was shooting, and I loved watching the way my body fell and rolled and folded in all the best ways. I was trying to take up space and be okay with that. I was also called mid shoot by a national tv studio inviting me to audition for a trivia game show! The best things happen when you're naked I reckon."

"I did ISM as it was an exciting opportunity that I hadn't come across. It is something special and empowering I did during my time overseas. I shot myself was challenging as I'm not great at taking photos of myself but I just relaxed and enjoyed it. Because I was travelling when I did this shoot I ended up using my friend's bedrooms which felt risky and exciting as anyone could walk in."

"I filmed bits and pieces of my third ISM wandering through my house, preparing for my day. It is a rare day when my housemates aren't around so I can be naked, how I always want to be! It was still warm in Melbourne, the sun makes me feel even more connected to my body."

"I had so much fun shooting my pictures, exploring the outdoors, seeing angles that worked and others that didn't so much. I had my cat coming in and out of the photos that was particularly funny but also slightly annoying. I think I found out that I love being naked after this shoot!"

"This photoshoot was a lot of me playing with different backgrounds and areas where I could get the best possible light. I started the shoot poolside, partly because I had already jumped in the pool and it was very very very hot that day. I realised the blue reflection from the pool made the photos amazing!!! Although I realised I was limited in the pool because I couldn't get a lot of nudity in it without getting the actual camera wet haha. I tried to get a bit more props in this shoot. I went into my room to dive into what I've been using in the past few weeks. I came across a hula hoop, score!! And bubbles. Haha, I've clearly been partying too much in the past few weeks!! This shoot was just a buttload of fun!"

"Standing in my court yard, stark naked, skin blue from the cold and balancing on one foot trying to take a selfie with my toe without slipping and falling into the yucca, I thought to myself - "I am not cut out for this artistic bullshit". BUT I persisted and I'm glad I did, the thrill of being caught by my elderly, sweet as a peach neighbour spurring me on. I have no idea if my photos are interesting or if people will just see it as "another naked chick in a suburban garden", but I thoroughly enjoyed the project and have a new found respect for any real models - I now know it is much harder than it appears!"

"This old place belongs to my family and I couldn't resist to sneak in and have another shoot. The place was dirty as hell, but makes for a very interesting setting. I like the contrast between the soft skin and the rough everything around. I had to be super careful with the spiky things around and the dirt getting in my eyes, but I believe that only made it more fun. I felt it was easier than the first shoot I did because I already knew what I was going for, and got some props to play with. The pictures I like the most are the ones where the light makes the difference, the shadows in the right place to mark the lines."

"The shoot was really interesting. I actually started to run out of ideas quite soon because with a selfie, the movements you can make, the angles and the distance are rather limited. So it was hard and I started to do things more and more strange, with various faces expressions, trying to reach a good number of pictures. But then a couple of days later I looked at the shoot and discovered another aspect of yourself: funny, creative, expressive, animal, beautiful, even sexy sometimes. And you can start calling yourself an artist ;)"

"My second shoot was a little different to my first, although still revolved around my farm. Part of it (the first few photos) were taken in the Victorian High country, near Mt Stirling. This is a really special place to me, although I couldn't take as many photos as I would have liked as there were ants everywhere (like everywhere). The rest is taken across the farm - in the hayshed, with the sheep, in with the calves, and in one of the back paddocks. One of the parts I like the most about it was that it begins with a sunrise, and ends with a sunset. I guess the sun is a bit of a theme in my shoots, I like using shadows, the glare, and the way the sun makes my skin looks when I take photos."

"My shoot was possibly one of the most important things I have done for myself. I have struggled with my weight for a long time, and I always felt I needed to make excuses for my body; Why am I fat? Why haven't I lost weight yet? Why can't I be as thin as she is? What the shoot gave me was a chance to take photos of myself in the light that I wanted to see myself; a hot 19 year old woman with a great ass (and great hair). I took pictures of myself from every angle to prove to myself that I was hot, regardless of which way the camera was pointed. I am extremely grateful to have been able to take part in this experience. I know I'm hot, and so will you! xx"

"When I found out about the project I was a little anxious about having to shoot it all myself - how would I do this and also where would I shoot myself!? But as soon as I took my clothes off and I held the camera in my hand it just came so naturally it freaked me out slightly, especially shooting on location I don't think I've ever felt so naughty yet so free. The adrenaline I got from being naked out in the middle of autumn was so unreal it could of been a hot summer's day and I wouldn't of felt any different. Absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend it to any woman feeling body conscious as it definitely lifts you up!"

"This shoot is an insight to mind exploration through the physical body, showing a fun, joyous playful side of myself that I feel when my mind is content. This is shown through comfortability, the positive application of makeup and clothing as well as being completely natural! Erotic, beautiful shots as well as funny, silly, gruesome shots, all of which are shot in full comfortability. I came into this shoot not having any particular intentions or expectations, so really discovering what this was about as it went along was really eye opening as well as it was very cold shooting in my 1920's style, non-weather accommodating vintage house!"
