“I kept trying to get my cat into the shoot but he wasn't having any of it. There was one great one but it ended up being out of focus. I kept trying to recapture that but it didn't happen. His name is Bobby, we call him Bobby the Bastard. He's the boss for sure.”

"My sister has a beautiful farm, so I went there to get back to nature and get my kit off. As I was heading back to the house, I came across all these other pretty areas that I just had to shoot myself in. I didn't realise that the area with the big green leaves was actually a swamp, so I'm really lucky that I had my gum boots with me, otherwise I would've ended up very muddy!"

“It was very very fun to shoot, I've always wanted to record my self with a partner or take some photos and I got to do it with the right person, and it was awesome. Though having the opportunity to share those with this site is even greater. A very good experience indeed.”

"My favourite part was not realising that people were watching me and then having them smile at me as I walked away. I thought I was alone and I hadn't expected to have an audience! It made it more exciting."

“I've always had a passion for corsets. In the last year or so I got introduced to the world of bondage and ropes and I've been dabbling since then. For me, the tight, secure feeling of being bound up either in a corset or just with ropes or ribbons is the most relaxing thing I've experienced so far.”

"I wanted to do this shoot mainly because I've been watching too much 'sons of anarchy' and I got those gloves for my birthday and they were instantly on my hands. It's not necessarily something that I just put on for the shoot though. I am a badass. Definitely.”

By the time they came out of the oven, we couldn't really care less about biscuits. Mostly, we were rooting for Clare S to achieve the spatula marks she was going for, but everything else she does is more than enough to qualify as a distraction. Who can think of food at a time like this???

"As Arj Barker quoted: 'Glitter is the herpes of the craft world'. I really love glitter, I'm not sure why, probably because it reminds me of space; star clusters, nebulas and those kinds of things."

"I tried to climb up onto a tree and didn't realise it was dead - I was trying to make the photos look gymnastic and artistic. Then all I could hear was the dead insides of the tree crunching; before I could even move the whole thing collapsed and I fell straight to the ground. People were pulling over in their cars, so I kept running and hiding, putting a leaf over my head and stuff."

“Fui a un parque y fue muy entretenido porque tuve que esperar para que no hubiera nadie mirando. Algunos tipos vieron mi cuerpo y se rieron y volvieron para mirar denuevo. Mi pololo estaba cuidandome. Fue muy bueno para mi seguridad personal siento que lo puedo hacer ahora.”

“These images were shot from 2009, through to some photos I took this morning on my hardwood floor, in the morning light. A history, of sorts, of self-documentation and exploration. I think my pictures show little in terms of physical change, however looking back I can't believe how long ago 2009 feels. So this is me, Hyperballad, old and new, changed and unchanged but forever following my bliss.”

"I saw my body as an art project - to shoot myself as an object. Then I looked at my body like a canvas - and thought why shouldn't I fill the blank canvas with colour? I felt free - I was not scared of being naked. I was terrified of dangerous animals though! I thought I saw snakes everywhere. There were birds, sun on my skin; I felt like a part of nature."

“I had a lot of fun shooting this folio, it was quite the challenge trying to get the lighting, shutter speeds and everything in focus with my new camera, but strutting around such an old elegant setting definitely made me feel old world sexy. Loved it."

With the advent of avid food bloggers, the recipe has become available with a quick google - but never have we seen them done quite like this.

"These photos came about from the need for a bit of self love, they're mostly taken in places where I'm relaxed and comfortable. Looking at myself from a different perspective, through a lens, surprisingly has made me see that I am beautiful, and sexy."
