ARTISTS STATEMENT

I feel like, as a woman, as a feminist, we're constantly being told which forms of self-expression are acceptable. Doing this shoot gave me an opportunity to take ownership of my body, set my own boundaries and express myself without judgement. It was also a great chance to build on my positive relationship with my body which, in today's plastic raunch culture, is a sadly rare thing in younger women.
