“It was actually more difficult than expected, mainly because we were trying to squeeze the two of us into the one picture, but it definitely made for some fun times! To take some time out of such a busy time to rediscover each other brought back all the nice sensations that we feel deep inside of us for each other."

"It's the dead of winter now, so I had to shoot naked in my back yard: brrr... it was freezing! Goose bumps were everywhere on my body. But it was fun, especially when my next door neighbour popped out at the back and saw me, LOL! The expression on his face was absolutely priceless."

Raquel continues to perform her acrobatics, naked as the day she was born, young and strong and full of life in a place designed for those long dead. That contrast gently reminds us to live while we're still alive, and also to get crackin' if we're going to learn to do handstands - chances are, Raquel will be turning them on top of us before we get around to it.

“I shot "Blueberry Bliss" in my cozy little spare bedroom. I was excited the whole entire time I was shooting because I absolutely LOVE blueberries, they are delicious! It made me crave a cold glass of milk too so of course I had to give in to my desire. Mmm, blueberries, milk, and nudity... what an absolutely lovely way to spend my afternoon!”

“I started taking these pictures for a new lover of mine who loves bikes (as do I), under the theme "Bike Purv". A lot of them I shot after hours at our community bike shop, there are just so many beautiful bikes there. There are also shots I took last summer while in Montana; such a beautiful state, it was so lovely to be outside in the sun and the mountains.”

"I found the most difficult part of ishotmyself to be getting the camera angles correct, being able to translate what I was trying to do with what was actually happening. My favorite part was being able to express myself and get some pictures that I will enjoy looking at in the future. I think it was an empowering experience overall."

"I went to what I thought was a secluded beach on the outskirts of town, but as the sun continued to shine, the beach very quickly started filling up with more and more people. I ended up having to take a number of photos in the bush just off the beach. People were walking past not realising what was happening beneath them."

There's just something about the Portuguese language, isn't there? Moody and melodic, hearing Raquel introduce herself like that snapped us straight into her peaceful vibe. Even continuing in English she maintains that energy, turning handsprings and inversions as if it were as easy as breathing.

"Originally I was going to shoot indoors because it was so cold. But I decided on more light and space so ventured outdoors. I had to explain to my housemates what I was doing - so they wouldn't come outside and interrupt my shoot. I had to keep running back inside to keep warm and it started raining too.”

"I guess just being nude and in nature is one of the biggest turn-ons for me. I just wanted to show who I am and what I like. For me, it was to celebrate the feminine body. I grew up in family where nudity and masturbation was very wrong, so this was a new journey."

"Even though it doesn't look hard, those pretzel positions that I was contorting myself into while snapping away gave me quite a workout. Heather, our mannequin, also popped in for a few shots, as did my favourite fur jacket. I didn't realise shooting myself would work up that much of a sweat!"

"I have a bit of a thing about beetroot. Beetroot is pretty earthy - so it was nice to be in the undergrowth with an earthy, soily vegetable. I love cooking, I love holding them and I love painting with their juice. I have a bit of a beetroot fetish - I thought the coloring would be a nice contrast to my quite pale skin too.”

"I have never been on my roof before so it was a bit of adventure to get up there. Before the shoot I made pancakes for my housemates, avoided doing homework and then headed on up. I don't think anyone saw me at all. I was completely invisible by the skyline - A nude gargoyle or cherub. The stuff you miss while not looking up!"
