"It was early morning but the water was very warm and good. I was sitting on the stones and feeling waves on my body that was amazing. A very nice start to the day. The next morning I went to the beach again to take pictures underwater. It was so fun because I had to stay underwater to take pictures but I surfaced quickly. In general, I really enjoyed participating in this project and taking photos for I Shot Myself. I like taking pictures but my face rarely comes out well so I don't really like taking selfies with my face in them. I hope you enjoyed coming on this journey with me! Kisses!"

"Tome estas fotos en casa, el lugar donde me siento comoda. Estaba pensando en la diversidad de los cuerpos incluyendo el mio. Me sentí libre y poderosa haciendo este set. Mientras lo estaba haciendo, mi padrastro golpeó la puerta y me asusté jaja, pero nada pasó. / I took these pics at home, the place where I'm most comfortable. I was thinking about the diversity of bodies, including mine. I felt free and powerful doing this set. While I was shooting, my Stepdad knocked on the door and I was scared that he'd catch me haha but nothing happened."

"Ishotmyself 2.0, 6 years later. Back in the Land Down Under from abroad, indulging in a well needed personal date! It has been a while since I've been one on one with myself in a new place, in a city I love, re-adapting to the sights and sounds of my local community, nestling amongst the knick knacks and creative stacks that fill my new abode. Being with the trees and the flowers on the lawn, swatting mosquitoes whilst dodging passing cars and pedestrians. Morning coffee never tastes better than when following an empowering one on one experience with yourself and your body. Thank you ISM!"

"In making this folio I had a lot of fun. This is my new home and what could be better than walking around your house naked, au naturale and having fun. I would call my folio - "In the Morning", as that's how I show myself in the morning. As soon as I wake up and go to the kitchen to make myself a coffee. I must admit that doing so gave me pleasure and I would like to give you pleasure too. I think there is nothing nicer than waking up and feeling at home, free and naked. Warm, natural, fun, sexy. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did doing it."

"I shot this folio in my room just after I woke up. No makeup and still a little sleep in my eyes, just my bare self and bare body. As the shoot went on I felt myself slowly unravel into deeper comfortability with expressing my erotic self, which I feel you can even notice in the photos. It became more and more fun to play with new angles and make different shapes with my body. I ended up turning myself on a lot and finding a new layer of love and appreciation for my body within this experience."

"When I found out about this project, I got so excited and decided yeah, that's what I really wanna do. I live on the ground floor so I had to watch the people passing by and not noticing me naked in different poses. In fact I don't care much, I just didn't want a big audience in front of my windows. I am a little shy sometimes. It is my first experience like that and I would be really happy to make more photoshoots for this project to implement all of my ideas. My mood raised as I was doing something new and something I really liked. I love expressing myself in different ways."

"When I heard about ISM I thought - "This is it! My time to be bold, confident and sexy". I really like that I got to express my true bare naked self, I tried to use some elegant props to show the beauty of a human body. Pink silk fabric and gold elements are my way to reference Renaissance era and my love for art. I even took some naughty pictures on the balcony, which was a challenge cuz I live on a busy street, but hey I think it turned out very cute. Be free, don't be afraid of judgment and have fun!"

"I shot this in the morning in my bedroom, just before a yoga class, whilst listening to No Zu. I noticed my inner critic coming up a lot when my body didn't look conventionally beautiful, then eventually I became curious about all the ways my body can appear. It got me thinking about how one body can look so diverse - we contain multitudes. I found a lot of pleasure in stretching and shaking and grooving and contorting and witnessing how that emerged in the images. When I do embodiment practices, they're normally separate from the visual world, as I have my eyes closed, but this was a way to bear witness to myself whilst staying in deep contact with my felt-sense."

"The day of the summer solstice has arrived. Every year on this day I leave the city to enjoy the longest day in nature. My partner and I love to hike and enjoy the views. The path was along a fast river that reeked of freshness and coolness. When we got down to the river, my partner lay down on a rock and dozed off while I decided to take advantage of the moment and let my body rest from my clothes. There was a highway above us with cars driving on it, and at first I was a little afraid to get naked, but the lush vegetation hid us from the view from above, and I was able to enjoy the freedom and the swimming in the mountain river. Looking at the smooth rocks made me want to masturbate using a rock as a dildo, but unfortunately I couldn't find a suitable rock..."

"During the shoot I was focusing on being present in my body, I loved that I was in control, it felt very freeing as I have never done anything like this before. The camera actually turned me on a lot more than I expected and afterwards I felt empowered in expressing my sexual side so openly. Doing this shoot made me feel confident being naked, something I haven't really felt before, being stripped bare for something that wasn't sex. It was a new experience where I felt a bit weird for the first few photos but once I settled in I felt great and really enjoyed it!"

"My sister told me about this project and it took me a while to decide to do this because I've never done anything like this because I am a very shy person and I never feel really comfortable with my body but this turned out to be kind of funny and liberating. It's nice to show your body and not be ashamed of who you are. So I'm really grateful with the experience of ISM, to show the real me and not be ashamed anymore. I will definitly do this again and recommend it to my friends."

"I shot this folio in my condo in Thailand. I did this shoot on a hot, sunny day, but it's always hot and sunny here. During the shooting process, I got a little excited, I felt the tension in my clitoris and decided to relieve this tension. At first I masturbated with my fingers, but this did not bring me results. Then I took out my vibrator, which is in my bedside table. In the photographs, I depicted my love for this little device. I love my beautiful view of the sea and the city. I'm not shy about going naked on the balcony, I hope my neighbors don't mind."

"I shot myself in the workshop I use to restore and repair coffee machines in. I ducked in on a Saturday when I knew nobody else would be in and out, and I could have the whole space to myself. The space is huge and so I basically got to run around naked trying different spots and poses, blaring 80's disco and really let myself get into the shoot. All in all, as a veteran ISM model I think the second time around was far better for me across the board. I have become more comfortable in my own skin since my debut shoot, and this probably made my shots more interesting and less staged."

"I shot these images from my home and an outside location. I nearly got caught twice whilst capturing some of these images! It was quite risque and I actually got a little buzz from creating them and love challenging my imagination a little. This was my second time shooting for ISM and although some bruises on my bum might have faded I'm fairly certain new ones have also appeared! Can you spot them? I love the fact they aren't going to be edited out I'm actually super clumsy so always have some sort of bump or bruise on me because it's natural right? I mean these ones are fully intentional but hey I like it rough and I feel they just add to my character!"

"Welcome to my room, my favourite thing to do is to dance and sing to my favourite music. Amongst my playlist for today was some Jimi Hendrix (all time fav) and of course some Cher. Put me on the stage and I'll lip sync the house down, well that's what I tell myself yet I continue to sing to my bedroom walls, I'm convinced they love it (sorry housemates). During the shoot I increasingly felt more confident, I didn't expect it to be such a free flowing shoot. I incorporated my favourite things that bring me back to myself after stressful times. I light some incense to create a decadent air filled room, line up my crystals, play some music and dance. This is my inner world."
