"To be honest this is my first experience of photographing myself so openly and keeping in mind that the pictures will be seen by other people. At first it was hard for me to honestly look at my body, to breathe in and accept the stage it is in. I was constantly reacting to the sound of neighbors passing outside the door, but the more photos I took, the more enthralled I became by the process. The thought came to me that I was human as I had always been, and it was really beautiful. I kept thinking about how much the image of my body in my head was not mine. It was created by culture and my parents. I am grateful for this experience and lesson, and grateful to my girlfriend who gave me support during this. I'm also thankful for my boyfriend who told me that my body is beautiful in every moment. I would love for women to experience this story and feeling through my photos, and I would love for everyone to try to be alone with themselves like this and talk to their bodies. Thank you!"
