"My girlfriend and I did our shoot two days after we got our apartment... in other words, it took us less than 48 hours to walk around butt naked and giggle incessantly. It was a wonderful experience and I'm grateful I got to share it with a gorgeous soul. 10/10 would recommend to a friend <3"

"During the shoot I felt inspired by my ideas and the fact that I chose to do what I wanted to do and not what I was expected to. I like to think of myself as free-spirited. I'm really happy with some photos and though I was limited by my camera's abilities and lighting I managed to do some nice pics. Though I know I could do much better and I'm not quite satisfied with my shape right now, I think this project is about real and real starts with where we are right now, accepting what we are at the present moment. I hope one day I'll make an astonishing folio somewhere on the beach with my hair long and my body and skin perfect but my point is that everyone should love themselves as they are because times and appearances change but you're forever stuck with yourself."

"I originally heard about this project from my sister Grace_R. I did this shoot over a few days, and I cannot believe how much fun I had. I would have liked to do it outside, but that wasn't really an option so I tried to make use of some indoor ferns to bring the outdoors to me. I tried (maybe unsuccessfully) to experiment with mirrors and lights, all while being watched very intently by my friend's cat throughout the shoot."

"For this shoot I wanted to show more of a softer side of sexuality. I used brighter colours and flowers to try and show that nudity can be sweet and soft and doesn't have to be all about sex. I felt happy with the way that doing this made my body feel less like its main purpose is sex and more like it is a real human body with other aspects to it."

"This shoot was done on the first full day of moving into my new flat with two of my best friends! Saying that, there is no better environment to take naked photos of yourself in than in a room with other women watching. At first, I really did not know what I was doing but with the help of my pump-up crew I started getting more and more comfortable with what I was doing. I started moving around more and trying new angles. The more comfortable I got and the more fun I was having, the more creative and funky the shots turned out. I started laughing more and best of all started slowly discovering new aspects of my naked body and falling in love with them all!"

"Doing the shoot I actually felt really confident, like there were so many possibilities. I was stressed beforehand about taking so many photos, but while I shot myself it was actually pretty easy and relaxed, and I had so much fun just finding different ways to feel sexy and beautiful and confident about my body."

"I shot myself was an eye opening, awesome experience that I feel very proud to take part in. I feel I gained even more confidence with the shooting and I loved the creativity of it all. I loved the fact that any moment my housemate could walk in, that neighbors can see me in front of the window, and I learnt that taking pictures on a hot floor takes time to peel away :). I'm so happy with the whole experience I will be spreading the word around the world."

"This shoot was an expression of myself, brought alive and captured in many varying moments and aspects. It brought together my sexuality with my passion and love of life. It also allowed me to express that it is beautiful for women to take pleasure in themselves as well as others."

"Creating this video was liberating, like my other two shoots but with an added depth. Shooting a video is a lot more daunting..."

"Whilst doing the shoot, I had a lot of fun photographing different kinds of angles, however my room has limited light and I had to stay by the window most of the time. I then positioned the camera by the window (bearing in mind I live on a very busy road) and an old man probably in his 80's walked past and saw my big bootay posing in front of the window, as if I was mooning him through the window. But then again I might of made his day, who knows?!"

"Contrary to popular belief, nipple piercings do not mean that they are erect 100% of the time, they are in this instance though because it was very cold and it took me a whole day to produce these photos as about 500% of them were deleted due to me being mid-sneeze. My neighbours have now probably seen me in some very compromising positions. Just in case some of them are in-artistically perverted I labelled myself "not yours" and just in case some of them were, I greeted them with "Baby". :)"

"I use avoidance as a procrastination strategy. So as per usual, I gave myself only a few hours to go on a shameless, self-indulgent journey with the camera and my body. As you may see, I was in my home, I had an intention just to keep it natural and progressive. It was hot, I had the music on and the house to myself. I don't think I've ever seen myself from some of these angles. It's pretty amazing to find the beauty in such an intimate and vulnerable space."

"This was my second ishotmyself and even though I found it way harder to come up with new ideas for backgrounds and poses I also think I was more open and my perspective changed a bit. I wasn't so focused anymore on looking beautiful but rather on looking natural. I also was finally confident enough to ask my flatmate to jump in and take some photos with me. I still very much enjoyed seeing how beautiful my body can look but I think I didn't get as excited about it as I did during the first shooting because it became something more normal to look at my body as beautiful. Which is a good thing! :) So, thanks again ISM. This is a great project and I am so happy that I participated."

"Creating this ISM folio has been personally enlightening for me. I've suffered from low self-esteem and body image my entire life but creating this folio has allowed me to see beauty within myself. I've learnt that beauty is not what society teaches women via media but in the diversity and differences in every body. Even within myself, I have learnt to accept my stretch marks and scars - something I never believed possible before shooting for ISM!"

"This was my second ISM shoot, and I wanted to do something with a bit more impact than the first one. At first I was a little shy with the paint, but after getting covered I really enjoyed myself. Putting different colours on my skin accentuated the different shapes of my body and let me see myself in a different light. I wish I could do this shoot again with a photographer so I could be more creative and open with my movements and poses. It's an idea I've had for years but never had the chance to do."
