Re: miss...what

Hi Jamie,

I used the camera that I was given - I have absolutely no idea what it was - except that is was a canon - I just clicked the button ;-)  It wasn't anything flashy - automatically did everything for me.

I did a lot of my pictures outside in the morning of a 40 degree C day or next to a window.

Cheers :-)

Re: miss...what

Miss,
you were asking about portfolio suggestions...it was in another thread, just can't find that one.....

Anyway....

sexeee_096 by VEVE for example is a classic. Actually many of her mirror shots are. She used it so well and inverted it so that you ask yourself :Which is the mirror image and which is her?".

Re: miss...what

Thanks Peter,

I checked out VEVE and wow - I really liked the way she framed and shot those pics.  It is truly a great work of art and I love the room she shot them in.

Just a gorgeous mix of red and blacks next to her pale skin tones.

Inspirational and creative - thanks for pointing that one out to me.

I would love to do a shoot in a lush room with an old lamp, velvet curtains, an old chaise and textured wallpaper... deep greens, burgundy, golds and of course huge gold framed mirrors...

Yummy...

Thanks again Peter...

Hey Miss,

when I find that room I'll let you know......   wink

I can envision this place. Sure sounds great! Hope you'll able to do that.
Maybe we need to create it bit by bit.
Do you have a small room free where you could create it?

Re: miss...what

Here are two portfolios with use of mirrors: COCO
Coco uses a small one outdoors and a big one outside the house.
She has some very good compositions there......

sorry...it's me AGAIN!!!! LOL!

JASMINA - eyeswideshut - she uses the 3 mirrors we were talking about. My Grandparents had one like that in a room in the basement, I do recall.

Cool thanks Peter :-)

I will check them both out for sure :-)

I noticed how effective Parisienne's folio was with the use of an empty room - worked really well in the b & w...

;-) glad you are enjoying the education on the lips post too... hee hee hee

Re: miss...what

Hello Miss.

I know. I thought about the same thing. All Parisienne had was a white/light colored sofa, a mirror and herself. Absolutely stunning. That nice wooden floor and white/light colored walls added to it.
When everything was said and done there wasn't anything to distract from her and the mirror. Marvelous.
Surprising was how she positioned the mirror and herself and the way she took the shots. She'd be positioned one way, yet in the mirror the complete other direction.

I'm learning so much here - amazing.
I mean my secret love is painting etc. in the nude. And I think seeing all these wonderful artistic expressions is preparing me for I don't know what.

Yeahh....thanks for educating me about lips......<chuckle>

Oh damn.....

I mean that you can't see the pix.

I'm happy for you that you got wet.   smile

Parisienne is a MUST SEE!

Maybe some day you win in the Lotto and you can sign up for better membership and go back and see her.
