I am quite impressed with both the UI design and the software design of the site. I'm wondering if you're using some sort of content manager for PHP that you purchased (and what it is), or if it was developed specially for this site.

We wrote it from scratch, except for modules like the forums, the database engine etc.  Our geek is very good and as soon as he gets back from his holiday in japan we'll be working on some new features, so any suggestions, now is a good time.
