Its not really a big deal in aus, over the past few years some kids are starting to get into the door knocking, proberly mainly stirred on by seeing what the americans do

In the past we have got dressed up and gone out or had a party.

This year I will not be attending due to having to finish up uni.

oh, yes, the best day of the year.  it's practically a religious holiday.
this year there have already been two halloween parties (starting on friday the 13th, at a DJs house who had made his whole basement into a haunted cave), this weekend there will be two more parties and a concert and a zombie parade through downtown Seattle, and on halloween there will be a troll pagent.
here's hoping I make most of them.

This is a high holiday...and despite all of the commercialism, it has strong histrory in western culture when all of the souls were flying about and our world is threatened and unsteady. But enough about that...I do plan on celebrating, which means dressing in some sort of alterego. A rooster? A pig? The barnyard draws me this year...it's something about the domestication and yet rooting about in the dirt and screwing to our to animal souls content. And you? Are you going to not doing let your superego out to play? What is your id doing on the 31st?

There's a girl running around downtown San Jose tonight naked.  She's painted all blue  with some cotton tufts glued on her.  She has a squirt tube taped up between her ample breasts and she's running around spraying people.  If you dare to ask her what she is,  she will respond:  "I'm partly cloudy with a chance of sprinkles."

i went to college at the infamous southern illinois university in carbondale, and back when i was there halloween was a massive mardi gras like week of partying.   EVERYONE made a costume.

I dressed my sister up on Friday for a party and sobbed that I could not go.  I haven't heard from her, but I hope she had a great time. There is no doubt she would have been the best dressed though.

Oh I love Halloween, though it doesn't seem to be as celebrated here in Australia as it is in America! But still, my friends n I usually hold a party where everyone dresses up, with good tunes, alcomohol, and of course... lollies! Which is perfect for me since I have a massively sweet tooth!!! But unfortunately, this year I hafta give it a miss cos like Alyce, I'm finishing up at uni soon too n all my free time is spent doing hw!

what did you dress her up in?

The Leg Avenue "Queen of Hearts" costume.

She didn't want to wear it because the skirt was short "What if people see my bum?"  Clearly I got all of the 'flesh baring' genes in our family.
