what do you call a hickey?

in todays shoot by kalika titled 'weave'
i see on her collar what could be a hickey.

if it is indeed a hickey it brings to mind instantly all the hickeys received and given which is a deliteful thing to remember indeed.

i was wonder if, in your neck of the woods, it is called a hickey or something else?

Yes hickey or love bite, and there serveral other terms, reminds me of my younger days, and how the ideas of covering them up... all the way from make up to toothpaste lol

hmmm.

i recently found out that toothpaste (not the gel but the paste) is great for cleaning silver.

Yes there were all these strange ways as kids we had to cover up things

I think its Coke that is good for cleaning another metal, and doesn't vinager also work on silver?

i left a punk bar where we made out all nite long getting more and more, uhm, passionate.  (let me see was that the night someone actually starting doing it on the dance floor???) oh well, when i looked in a mirror the following morning, yikes!  it looked like i was wearing a rasberry necklace.
she was such a good kisser.....;)

Now this has got me thinking, I can sort of remember waking up one morning after a hard night out and the lovely lady I was with had chose to attack me in my sleep, My neck and top half of my body was covered in them.

As i was awaking and feeling, as you do after a good night, i started to realise what had happened to me, I looked accross at her sleeping peacefully with a smile on her face.

Heh! This made me remember an incident from waaaay back in the dark ages when I was a teenager.
We were out celebrating one friend's birthday with drunken shenanigans, as you do, and one of our number declared loudly that she was awesome at giving hickeys. She then demanded that each of us present our necks to be marked. It seemed like a reasonable thing to do at the time (I got to be the one to retaliate). Next evening, however, was the parent-sanctioned, wholesome gathering to watch crap videos at the birthday girl's home. It was highly amusing seeing the whole group of us gathered there in scarves and/or high necked tops.

I do beleive you have to be carful with coke my x was a pannel beater and they spilt coke on a car on a long weekend. when they came back after the holidays there was a nice hole in the car were ther had spilt it

At the same time though, I used to drink at least a litre of coke a day, and my stomach never started leaking on me...  I still have coke pretty much every day, just not that much anymore.
