Re: The projector photos!

Aw thanks paintjam - but i still think I have a lot more practicing and improving before my work is art - not that this is bad it means I will just need to do a lot more folios smile

I aquired a 3/4 mirror recently - i was thinking something with that for the next one as I havent used a mirror yet.

What do you think?

i just love mirror shots especially with someone as photogenic as you.
multiple mirrors would be even better.
one thing i dont really like in a mirror shot is seeing the camera (even i am guilty teehee).

now get those mirror image juices flowing my dear and just choose a setting...;)

The thing I was taught about drawing was to get as confident at drawing people and things and ideas straight from your head as you are at writing your own name, then you can inject the personality you bring to your own signature, straight into the drawing. Ha ha you've got to make the lines dance!! smile Which is true actually. If you look at some really great drawings, the lines have loads of expression.

I liked the look of my own reflection once in a window looking out at the dark evening  with large snowflakes falling outside, but I was about 12 and didn't even have a camera, but catching your reflection in interesting things is always good.

this is so true...practice until it becomes as natural as writing your name.

Actually Paintjam, I don't know whether you like this but it reminds me of some of the stuff you like. Instead of the light from blinds, He's used his fingerprint.

Hey Blissed - yeah I have a big window here but I dont think I can get anything but ghostly reflections off it where you wont be able to see its me... I only have one large mirror - I might be able to dig up a few small ones to hold in my hand though - might get a few infinity reflections that way - what you think?

Here's a must-do: Drive by Melissa Ferrick.

It was never released, and only done live (with Sarah McLauchlan, I think) and so you have to find it via a music share thingy. closest thing i've ever heard to sex-in-a-song. TOTALLY worth searching out. . . .

Hey I think you should go for that Paintjam. That would look great on you. Hair extensions are a bit expensive tho but I think it'd be worth it.

Re: The projector photos!

You woudl look cute in the Pintjam -mine cost 80 pounds from diversity hair - she makes them to order - then you just need to get a mate to help you put them in - theres great websites that show you how I can dig up if you like? Its really not hard just a bti time consuming - but then its great hair every day for a few months with little to no styling hehe!

Now I have mine in I want accessories... i used to have some lovely metal beads with flowers engraved on them i used on my extentions (i used to have braids all the time in most colours) but i lost them all and cant find any more sad

Re: The projector photos!

Hey guys - I'm already thinking about my next folio - with audreys chess and girlfrommars digital projector shoot mines looking tired to me already... so answers on a postcard what should I do next?

I have no idea when ISM will want another folio but Im sure it will be sooner if I have a top notch and unique idea! So many great artists have used so many ideas most things i think of have been done...

Most unique (but possible) ideas will be used in my next set smile

With my new dreads ( http://www.alishax.com/images/gallery/gallery4/1.jpg ) underwater (which was my original next idea) is out as they will be heavy and wont like it much being synthetic hair...

Thansk in advance for your help guys!
