There's been a bit of a lull at the ISM forums of late, and I blame Max for whooping it up at the IFM forums and leaving us all in the dust. But somehow she's found time in her busy schedule to submit another ISM shoot, which is apparently going up tonight!
Come back to us, Max. We have candy.

Why would I want American dollars when I can have licorice?

It's true, i tend to bogart the catt. but who could blame me? she's hilarious plus she can't be killed by conventional means - and women in automobiles have tried very recently.
She did wander off to ifm at one stage, but i set a trail of licorice and she followed it back.
I can't wait for your folio to go up max. it's a doozy (as always)

Dark chocolate of quality has also been known as a homeing beacon.
"Apple of my Eye", "bated breath", "brave new world", "caught red-handed" - all coined by Shakespeare.

i admit guilt to being ravished by the ifm forums and neglecting the ism. there has definitely been a lull over in these parts, and two forums is hard to manage (is there anyone who does all three - ba, ism, ifm?). while ism is definitely where my webwhore roots lie, i can't stay away from ifm...it's been an intensely erotic experience over there. it's causing some overambitious desires...
i don't want to get a bad participation grade, though, so i'll try harder.

You can have her back over my dead body...besides we've been lacing her IFM Candy with crack...she's completely addicted and won't ever leave. mwah ha ha [clearing my throat and trying to look innocent] can I interest you in some IFM licorice Cat?

S'funny, but I've found there to be noticable discrepancies in the atmospheres of ISM and BA forums...and I've had a bit of a looksee at the IFM forums recently, and can understand the exodus. Do you good folk think it is the content of the different sites that set the standards for the forums, and the persons who frequent them?
I've not been on the BA forums before, and I've a soft spot for ISM, so am guessing this is where I'll stay.

I also have noticed the differences between the two fora. I enjoy this forum but, somehow, I don't seem to click with the BA one and the IFM forum is very much an "us" and "them" trying to get on with each other, which gives it a very odd feel. I think that the "standards" which were set at the beginnings of each site have lead to two quite different sets of forum contributors, even though the image contributors have a lot in common. It's very odd - me thinks I will cogitate on the issue.
I've already thunk and I'm staying here!!!

Cheeky! I do most of my forum chatting on weekends or at night time - when at work, I'm mostly playing online Solitaire and filing my claws.

I like that you're on the IFM forums, Bel - and although you're not as prevelant as some of the BA contributors, it's an odd...comfort (?) that some of the ISM regulars are there, and that I'm not completely starting from scratch.
Although ISM members are a bit of a minority there to begin with. We should all just get along *S*

yeah, there are definitely different feels to each of the forums, and i'm sure that has a lot to do with the content. i think the ifm forums are a bit more of a fray and a little more intense, because the content is more intense than here or on ba (or at least that's been my experience). also, since it's new, a lot of people think they should put their two cents in about how the site is run and how the films should be shot, which has been somewhat controversial. i would say that ism is definitely more of a social community. these people have been here for awhile and know each other pretty well, whereas with ifm they're new to one another. but there are moments when that community really starts emerging, and i think we'll continue to see that. as a result of the ism people knowing one another pretty well and being very accepting of newcomers, the posts can go a little soft sometimes. i like that on one hand because there's not too much pressure, i can just come and relax. but i have to admit that that "softness" has caused me to temporarily lose interest, because i guess i'm just a sucker for debate and deliberation and dissection. ifm gives me plenty of that. i can definitely see how that could be off-putting for some people. but i'm certainly not choosing yet. i'd acutally like to try ba forum as well, but a girl can only do so much....any ba people have some input on how it differs from other forums?

Well, if you have a preference for debate, i can start by saying that I disagree with everything you have just stated. OK, so it's not true that I disagree - but for the sake of argument ;-)

Hey, Elfman! Good to see you are here as well now. It's different over this side but I like it. Max's submission was good, wasn't it. As to the lighting, we don't get that much of that kind of light in the UK anyway. It's called the Sun ;-)
