Im a mature man on this site. Glad to see a mature woman also. I like hair on a woman. I think it is really sexy. But being a man I like it either way also. HA But if I do have to make a choice. My vote is for hair.  KC

I'm a bit weird when it comes to this one... pubic hair yes, leg hair yes, underarm hair no (it just brings me back to my highschool days and this girl who had hairy underarms and a terrible b.o. problem to match... *cringe*).

This is probably THE most oft-discussed and divisive issues on the ism forums. 

I live in hope that one day these two factions will lay down arms, put aside their differences, and we can achieve some sort of bi-lateral support for the notion of the heterogeneous bikini zone.

I love hair on women. Absolutely wild about hairy armpits and cannot deal with shaved muff at all. I totally dig everyones right to do what they want with their bodies of course, but find it really regretable that so many girls feel the need to shave. I find it even more regrettable that society and the media pokes fun and shame at those who decide to go their own way. Ah well - at least our society doesn't force them to wear burkhas.

Been out for a bit on vacation in Maui...the surf was great fun, and the mai tai's tasty. Anyway, on the hairy vs. shaved debate - for me, totally depends. I used to be hung up on only dating hairy women, meaning never shave their legs, it was a liberation kind of thing, resisiting the traditional notion of beauty having to be plucked, shaved and rouged. Most of the women I was with had really light hair though, so can't say I was really a hairy bush kind of festishist. And when I slept with a really hairy woman with leg and underarm hair that was a match for mine...well, that was a challenge. Now I really like when my woman shaves her goodies...it makes it much easier to find all of the special bits and shows in them in all of their goddess glory. And it's incredibly erotic to help out with the shaving...But I say it's up to the woman...some women look really incredible au natural, others with a little manipulation. I love em either way...

Flippin' 'eck! I go away for three days and there's some major activity in the forum. I could get paranoid about this ;-)

As Shannon has stated this is, without doubt, the most reiterated subject in the forum. I have a distinct preference, when it comes to my own body, of only wearing my hair on my head. However, when considering others, I feel that it is a matter of preference for the wearer of the hair  and should not be subject to the preferences of the viewer. Some people are very lucky and their body hair grows in beautifully decorative patterns and it should not be touched, while for others it just grows in ever conceivable direction and they may feel that it needs to be manually styled. Removing or styling your body hair is no different from carrying out the same process with the hair on your head.
