Hi ya!
Yep the overhead kind of projector is to be used
I hadnt thought of placing water in a bowl but thats a good idea! Thanks SCSI
Hi Blissed, I think the printer I will use will give a strong detailed print on acetate as its a pretty good HP one that does photo quality and paper up to 300 gsm as well as standard printing.
So far we have these ideas:
-water and dye in a bowl,
-bubbles printed on acetate,
-waves printed on acetate,
Any more takers?

Alisha on Acetate. Pose within the same pose. I pro-pose a counter pose. Alisha on Alisha could get pretty interesting. You wouldn't have to concern yourself with what your partner didn't like.... ;-}
"Apple of my Eye", "bated breath", "brave new world", "caught red-handed" - all coined by Shakespeare.

Last June I was at the Bath Uni Graphics end of year show and took some pics of a really nice project. The brief was to promote organ donor cards and it was barcodes in the shape of various organs projected on to peoples bodies. I think they were made with slides of the single colour motifs projected from about 3 ft away. Something bold and emphatic like that would look good perhaps a purple slogan.

You could also project the drawing you posted of yourself on to yourself.
If you rough sketched yourself in a pose scanned or photographed it, then inverted the image into a negative, coloured the white sketchy lines, printed on acetate, then projected the coloured sketchy lines onto yourself in the original pose that might look good.
Close projecting a motif or image almost like a tattoo would be the easiest I think and you'd get some bold images projected on yourself. A close up of a breast with a purple Helvetica slogan projected on it? but you could mix close projection with whole body projections. I think your gonna have some fun

Ooh the raw images on your folio are interesting and beautiful and I've customised my favourite to my own tastes (hope you don't mind) and I think it's gorgeous.

Hi guys!
Thanks for your lovely comments Blissed customise away!
The barcode idea is great, maybe my logo, name or sentance? old fashioned caligraphy always looks beautiful to me, prehaps that would be a nice image.
Alisha on Alisha eh SCSI... sort g/g but not.... lol, it might work well but such a complex image might not print as well as simple or defined ones, I will have to experiment....
I think I will try out all the ideas I like and make a varied folio around the projector theme and use the best ones.... I will be working on the folio all this weekend until monday morning so if anyone else has any more great ideas for my next folio or any comments about my current starry one let me know!
Also happy birthday to my sweetie if shes reading this!
Hugs and Kisses
