Calling any Twin Peakers

I thinks its about time I start posting around here! I'm also thinking its as good a time as any to start a thread for all the Twin Peakers out there. I know that I'm not alone when it comes to fantasies involving doing naughty things to Special Agent Dale Cooper under the Sicamore trees, perhaps while Annie watched- she so needed a bit of corrupting!!
So tell me, I want to know- I'm strange!!!

Twin Peaks always struck me as a show I wish I had watched, but it went off the air before I developed the interest. yikes(

Hi Maxi, are you Max? I know it's a stupid question probably, but I'm good at those smile If you are Max, it's really nice to have you posting here and if your not, well, I'm very pleased to meet you smile
I was never into Twin peaks because a lot of people said that you needed to be on a higher plane of consciousness to know what was going on. But perhaps if I'd bothered to watched it, the complexities might have been interesting. But other than that, I haven't really got anything useful to say about it at all smile Like your flower munching avatar.

Yup nothin like it on TV before or since.  Sure stays in the memory.  I didn't have the same reaction to Agent Cooper as you but I'll never forget his deep appreciation of a cup of coffee.  Man could that guy savour his coffee.  Now, Audrey (Sherilyn Fenn) I do recall wishing to do naughty things with.  And Laura Palmer, if only she wasn't so dead.  But (bizarre or what?) the thing that most sticks in my head are those cakes in the police station.  Rows and rows of bright colored kiddy cakes with cherries on top and stuff.  In a police station, for coffee break, provided by the very odd Lucy.  why?  why?

Thanks for reminding me - seems like there was more coffee in that series than I realised at the time.

I still get nightmares about that giant.  I can't tell you why but he creeps me out like nothingn else - I used to hide behind the couch for his bits.

My favourite is, and always will be the Log Lady.

Re: Calling any Twin Peakers

I've been a total obsessive Twin Peaks nutbar since it first screened on Australian television, so you might regret getting me started...

The thing about Cooper is, sure, the character was as sexy as all get-out - but the women of the show were something else.  Uncommonly gorgeous; Sherilyn, Mädchen, Sheryl.  David Lynch sure has good taste in girls.

There's been nothing like it since...but I believe it set the standard to the point that 95% of today's television series would not exist if not for Twin Peaks.

And they weren't referring to you lying down, either, Honey!!!  ;-}

Speaking of which.....   whatever happened to Carol Doda?

"Apple of my Eye", "bated breath", "brave new world", "caught red-handed" - all coined by Shakespeare.

So dansuds be specific!!
Blissed I am Max, there was already a Max so the ISM chickies just girlied up my name a touch.
Blissed and jdudley its not too late! I actually never watched the series on T.V (I think it was aired during my parents "lets not own a t.v" phase). The first (and bestest) series is on DVD and the rest are all on video- though, if where you are is anything like where I am, you may need to video shop hop cause episodes will be missing! And Blissed you so don't need to be on any level of higher consiousness to watch Twin Peaks - its like Shakespear - it works on all sorts of levels!!!
Audrey was tops- I always wanted her and Copper to get it on! Maybe he would of had he got all evil earlier. Speaking of which would any one care to speculate on what mischeif Cooper would have gotten up to after his run in with Bob?
And who can remember (or make something funny up) what Coopers up to here?

I have always been a Big fan of David Lynch! You're not weird at all, just check out Eraserhead.

I know he just woke up from a dream, with the giant in the room, and is calling Diane.  Specifics not so good, as my memory is truly busted.

I love you for this post, hon.

Re: Calling any Twin Peakers

Miss Catt you are almost correct. He is ringing Harry to tell him he knows who killed Laura Palmer and "yes Harry it can wait untill the morning". Catt I think I might need to lend you the DVD's so that you can refresh your memory!!
Mr Pic Me I've done Eraserhead and I agree one of David Lynch's highlights!!  Also I was implying that I was strange not because I liked Twin Peaks but because I wanted to hear everyones Twin Peak fantasies which no one told me anyway : ( !!!
Jdudley I'm excited for you, let me know what you think when your done!!

Re: Calling any Twin Peakers

Maxi you asked me about the vid and WHOOPDIDOODA! it's finished. You can't see it yet though because the whole project is now more than a month behind. I've got to do the web site and see if the track is excepted on iTunes. If it is, I'll make the site live. Then it'll probably be, here goes nothing. I've posted in AW as well because I don't know where your hanging out, probably  on the beech if you've got any sense. Anyway it's not a race. I'm going to make the project  good if I can, and this gives me a bit of time to think of excuses as to why it's not smile I've got one. It's the first video I've ever made, so thats a start.
