cool. i couldn't believe it this past week. i was working at a place that had PLENTY of these excellent vanilla-chocolate macadamia nut cookies set out in the kitchenette BUT NO COFFEE!!! i had to go down to streetlevel 4x a day for a fresh cup.
No coffee? Where on earth were you?!? It almost impossible to believe this was in NYC.

it was almost barbarian. the problem was, it was a fancy Krupps caraffe deal, and none of the freelance artists working that day knew how to work it. a shame, too, because it looked like the cabinets were stocked with some gourmet choices i'd never heard of.
<sssssip> thanks for the coffee

What kind of biscuit? Some kind of shortbread for me - if I'm feeling decadent it might be shortbread with macadamias, but mostly it's plain shortbread. If I'm feeling down, it's shortbread + strawberry milk; a mouthful of shortbread, then pour in the milk - a childish delight I have kept to myself for lo these many years :-)

I don't think I should be dubbed a hero for my eating habits (seriously!), but bless your cotton socks nonetheless.

Yo, Catt, FYI: they had a fruitcake flinging confab in Colorado a couple of days ago. One mechanism was this compressed air thing that sends a cake about a quarter of a mile at about 200 miles per hour! What did I tell you? Projectiles!
