Point well taken, but it makes a cool noise when you go after them with your monitor.

I fear flies far outnumber monitors in this current Australian climate - however, you're right.  It'd make a highly satisfying crunch (and the jubilation would last all of, oh, say, 5 seconds *S*)

Not to mention the short lived jubilation of the fly or flies that got to be "on" tv.

If you have looked at digital TV you may have noticed that the ABC (Australian version, not American) has a channel called Fly TV - that's definitely going too far!
