One of the most compelling things about this site is the ability to see womens natural body hair up close. There is nothing sexier or more beautiful to me than a women who is naturally hairy. I love a thick head of hair and all kinds of body hair. From pits to pussy, butts to bellies, I cannot get enough of your incrediible fuzz. Speaking of the hair down there, nothing looks worse that a stubbly, red bumpy, pubic patch. This only means that your hair is thick and gorgeous and is rebeling against being chopped off. It is you that need to let it go natural the most. If you must, trim it down but don't remove it altogether! Just letting the hairy women out there know that many men love and appreciate you just the way you are.

I wasn't really overly interested in it/enamoured of it until I saw Tuva's folio several months ago. We (women, especially) spend so much time grooming/farming ourselves to the point of almost-artificiality that it's sometimes easy to forget our more primal origins. Tuva is not only a gorgeous kid, she's covered (and I mean covered) in this fine blonde down - it really blew my mind. It reminds me/us that we're all just animals, really, and at some point we weaned ourselves off all the natural elements of our bodies that assisted our comfort and survival.
the beauty of simplicity is the complexity it attracts.

I am with you both all the way with respect to loving pubic hair. That is the reason I have joined this site.
I see pubic hair as a defining quality of a woman that distinquishes her from the next woman. A crop of pubic hair is as unique as a woman's Labia minora and in my opinion is an importantl element of a woman's beauty. In my job I see many women whom remove their public hair and in many (but definately not all) cases the are replete with in-grown hairs. I just hate in-grown hairs.
Maybe I am old-fashioned also as I love the fact that in many cases pubic hair hides the vulva from view, and this just makes me more motivated to view a woman.
Having said all that, there are many many beautiful women without pubic hair on this site with whom I could imagine falling into bed regardless of the status of their thatch.
By the way, I never realised that I was so attracted to red pubes before viewing some of the women at this site. I must meet a red head.

Not that we've ever discussed this before..... but let's be accurate: razor burn is caused by a dull razor OR not having shaved for a long time. You may not believe this, but your face does the same thing after you've let your beard grow. And many others of us appreciate the time and effort a girl makes into getting "kissing ready".
Personally I like them both ways. But I really like interesting designs when they are available. One hardcore fan shaved hers into a Chevy bowtie.

So what do we think of women with body hair gone wild, or naturally hairy?
OK I am confessing I am a hairy lady. I have a nice hairy down as I like to call it. Most people have blonde or baby hair all over their body but mine is more dark and abovious.
This has caused me much anguish in my life. I am not like those Mexican hairy wolf children by any means but it has made an impact on my life with being so different to other girls out there.
It is amazing how much time I have spent removing body hair from various parts of my body ie eyebrows, lip, legs, pubic region, arms, stomach, back and other areas. I have to admit I wish I wasnt hairy but over the years I have become comfortable with my body hair.
Before people stared programming me that body hair was bad I had no awareness that I was different. Kids can be so brutally honest.
Thinking back I have plucked, tweezed, waxed, lasered depilated, and shaved my body over the years. My body has been a battle ground like the artist Barbra Kruger stated once "Your body is a battlefield".
Also there has been long periods of time where I let my body all go wild and I am quite comfortable with it. I hate to say it but if I could wave a magic wand I would ask to not be hairy. I love the feel of freshly waxed legs when clothes and the world around you is so much more luscious. Hair can stop you being more sensitive to things as apposed to having naked skin.
I used to be super paranoid of being hairy and thankgod I got over that. Isnt social programming wonderful?
Its funny how some people find body hair so offensive. People should be free to be as they like and it is refreshing to hear men say that they like girls to be hairy in the nether regions. Viva la difference.
The plus side to being hairy is that I have big, thick luscious hair on my head and super long and black eye lashes. At least my hair removal needs keeps my beautician in business.
Its cool how some of my boyfriends in the past havent cared when I had hairy legs or a hairy pussy. It meant I could be more lazy with my hair removal routine in winter.

I was conditioned to think hairy girls looked unpleasant, and that stayed for quite a while until I saw the folios by AURORYA or Valerie as she is in Abby Winters. She's pretty hair, but lovely. It's still not my preferance, but I'm now free to apreciate someone who's a little bit fluffy.

So what do we think of women with body hair gone wild, or naturally hairy?
When I was a teenager, I saw a beautiful young woman with hairy armpits. My first reaction was 'yuk' but immediately I realised that I actually liked it and the 'yuk' thought was just society's conditioning.
Since then I have considered hairy women to be strong of character to stand against the social norm. I also consider then incredibly attractive too.
I love the diversity on this site and seeing women in their 'natural state' (whatever that means to them).

[QUOTE=azriela]So what do we think of women with body hair gone wild, or naturally hairy?
Lovely!
I think that like so many other aspects of "taste" and preference, there is much cultural and individual conditioning- Pavlovian if you will - in these matters. Consider Weight for example. Many cultures prefer large women, and there are plenty of good evolutionary reasons for that. The body types that you grow up around, and more specific aspects that you experience personally, no doubt play a major role in subsequent preference- like foods.
Here in the US, it seems that our culture expects and accepts that women will have shaved armpits and legs, at least below the knee - thighs too and a "bikini trim" if they are going to be wearing just that or short shorts. I never thought much about it, and over the decades that I have had girlfriends or been married, none of them ever shaved their pubic hair, but all, at one time or other, shaved the rest. My most recent girlfriend (lamentably now x-, by a career move) of several years was disinclined to shave and I encouraged this and found it extremely sexy. Frankly I find the LEAST sexy stage is prickly stubble! Once, after she had shaved her legs to conform for some dress-up event, she was fooling around trimming her lovely muff with scissors, and though she stopped when it was still relatively long, it felt bristly rather than silky as I was accustomed to- not quite a yuk, but I was glad when it grew out and softened up a bit!
Let it grow!! Hair is A Womans Glory and that goes for all over
Yikes!! I just did a Google on the quote (checking the ref.) and find that it is from the Christian Bible, and has some associations that I certainly do NOT endorse!! But I still go along with the quote, if we can separate it completely from its original context!

It's not cultural, it's a fashion statement. Look at nudes 20 years ago. They all had muffs. And girls covered them (to be legal) with furry triangular covers called merkins. The shaving may or may not be for confort or discomfort, it is simply the fashion of the day. Just like tattoos, piercings, scarring, and exposed belly buttons.
Tattoos under the hair line are a fashion statement. Now guys shave their heads so you can see the tatoo. Wire rim glasses and tie-die were a fashion once, now you rarely see them. Todays "shorts" go to your ankles.... go figure.
I wore sideburns and long hair once. Now I shave. Would women prefer me in my "natural state"? In the end, it's what I like and what I feel comfortable with. NO, I don't like the ritual and pain of shaving, but I like it more than walking around with part of my lunch stuck in my face.

Ok first post - and what a subject to jump into - so here goes, two feet first...
I think it all depends on the woman in question. Naturally hairy can look stunning on some people and shaved can look great on others. Having said that, i'm all for whatever makes you feel good in yourself. If you are with a partner and shaved or hairy is important to them then i guess you might try something different, as we tend do want to please our partners.
And for those who don't like hair i would urge them to take a look at ISA and you'll be converted to liking hairy women, trust me!
As an aside, i have shaved my own pubic hair before (makes it look even more like a plucked chicken) and the feeling as others have said of air on freshly shaved skin was amazing - a total turn on, till it started to grow back and got itchy - lol! Any other guys have similar experience? Any women find shaved guys a turn on - i'm guessing not, but prove me wrong!

I love hairy women. My wife has an ample amount of hair. Her legs, pits and pussy are gorgeous when fully grown. She shaves, not as regular as I think she would like, or perhaps her social conditioning would like. She gets embarrased when I play with her pit hairs, and that usually leads her to shave, I tell her how much I like it, but she is self-conscious about it.
She's never shaved her pussy, but will trim it all the way down. Always a suprise and a turn-on. I love to get lost in it when fully grown so pungent and beautiful, but the trimmed version is intriquing also. Change is good and keeps things fresh. I would like to see it fully bare, but just for the turn-on of it. I wouldn't want to keep it that way.
The trend of bald is beautiful is an interesting twist in society, but like any fad it will evolve. . . I just think one should do what makes them feel good about themselves.

Always been absolutely fascinated by furry women, especially the blonde peach fuzz against a golden suntan type of girl a la the recent sets by Tuva - THE perfect woman! Would love to find a willing model for photographing....any offers girls?
Offline
I'm not an extremist. I won't be shouting for hairy armpits, and I won't start a fight if a model chooses to shave all over (like the beautiful Zille's movies). I do like to see a bit of "trimming the edges" if a girl prefers to stay hairy, but I see that as roughly equivalent to getting a haircut to look nice.

I don't know if this constitutes a breach of the forum rules (if it does then I apologise!) but I am seriously looking for a furry model in Melbourne, dark hair, blonde hair...whatever as long as it's a leg thing! Decent, above-board fella with a camera seeking a peach fuzz muse to capture for posterity.

The first woman I fell in love with didn't shave her pussy, so for me, it's all good.
Most of the women I know feel sexier shaving though, and I think how a woman feels about herself is more important. I'm going to kiss it either way, and (in my experience) it's hard for a woman to really enjoy that if she doesn't feel like her pussy is beautiful.
I don't think a shaved woman looks like a child - but if I did have that association, it would probably bother me, so I can understand that.
Catt and SCSIgirl have already spoken to my other thoughts, which are that we're animals and that shaving is fashion; they're strong enough ideas to remember, though.

You hit it on the head there. Some women it works.. others it doesn't. I can go both ways. My My GF looks fantastic bald, but she's lazy and doesn't shave every day even though I shave my balls everyday and use a #1 clipper once a week. When she is sporting a little muff I like it when it's trimmed real short.
Latley I've been obsessing this photo I stumbled accross somewhere on the internet. Her body is perfect, skin looks perfect and she's completley devoid of any hair that I can see.
Just AMAZING!

To me her crotch looks like that of a plastic mannequin - completely sexless. Not my cup of tea, sorry.

I know this is a circular discussion without any actual resolve, but I'll pipe up here and say that it's totally the individual's choice (of course). Everyone has their preference, and hopefully their partner's preference matches their own - or they're willing to experiment/compromise.
The only time I get a little tetchy on this topic is when people comment negatively on an ISM girl's folio, telling her to shave/not shave, or that pubic hair is 'out of fashion'. Jesus. Some ISM girls are shaved, some aren't. The End. Fortunately, the site is updated regularly enough (and there's a fairly expansive archive) so that everyone's preference is catered for. If all models adhered to a particular and specific ideal, how utterly dull would ISM become? This site celebrates courage, spunk, and The Individual. So it's the perfect occasion to drag out the old clichè "if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all".

I agree entirely with Catt. What I love about ISM is the diversity in the female form. If I wanted to see sanitised, deoderised, soft focussed, augmented girls I would buy a Playboy.

I have my ideal of how I like some one to look. But why I find someone attractive is a bit complex and undefinable. So as most sexual attraction is subconscious. if we feed our subconscious with beauty thats diverse, we'll be rewarded with a greater choice.
I expect thats stating the obvious to everyone here. But it's good to try and articulate it, so you can share this with people who don't realise the benefits of diversity.

I love hairy girls / women, I always have , I always will . From being fascinated as kid by the hair poking out of swimsuits and bikini bottoms , armpits , to the down on girlfriends necks and arms, thighs, crotches . ....to as a teenager in my 1st Life Drawing class , staring with rapt fascination , like a rabbit caught in the headlights , too embarrassed to move for obvious reasons , at the unexpected sight of the voluptuous, curvy, erect- nippled , hairy arm- pitted, thick auburn - bushed model , lounging decorously on a makeshift sofa...... the flickering sunlight coming thru the windows , occasionally highlighting the down on her thighs.
That said, I also love the shaved hairless look . I'd like to see ISM remain free of Body - fascism of any kind. The fotos on ISM are unique. I've not seen the like anywhere else. I think all women of all different shapes , sizes, hairy / a bit hairy / no hairy , should be encouraged to do their own thing. My reasons are not politically correct ones , but out of Pure Selfish Drooling Lust . You see the more girls having a safe encouraging place to show off their unique sexuality, the more girlz of my personal preference I get to see. That means that in terms of my personal taste , even if I only get turned on by say, 20% of the ISM girls . That 20%, is pure gold . Better than anything I've seen anywhere else. I spend more time nowadays on ISM [ 90% ] than on any other sites I have joined. That includes BBW, Skinny , Female Bodybuilding , Hairy girl, sites. [ I'm never sure on hairy girl sites, if the girls are doing it out of personal choice, or to make some money, and if they going to raze all the hair off, after the foto shoot is over .] On ISM if a girl is hairy , I know it's out of personal choice , and that to me is a turn on. Where else can I get images of a girl with a sulky, pissed off , cocky - in - a - female - way attitude, with no make up on , who is utterly sexy and desirable, without even trying ? I like to think that the girl in the foto I'm looking at , has a brain , a personality. That turns me on. The internet is full of endless vistas of boring , soulless , mind numbing porn, with women passively acting out the fantasies of, most often a male photographer. ISM is an oasis in a desert.
