"Several sex partners in my past have taken initiative in making love to me. Beyond the famous 'all he really wants or needs is a BJ' I mean. There have been scented baths, candles, soft music, sensual massage, and more.
But there is one thing that never did anything for me at all. Some women would spend quite a bit of time and attention to my nipples.
I know why. Any good lover has in his/her head an image of what they are doing feels like.
My nipples have no particular sensitivity to that type of caress or even nibbling. Eventually it just becomes an irritant.
Was I right in saying this? Some women were offended, others incredulous. Asking, "Your nipples aren't sensitive like mine - only smaller?"
I wondered if the other guys have the same physical reactions, or am I - sadly - missing something?"
Have I ever lied to you before?

You have to focus on pretending to be a woman, then your nipples will come alive. Mine do!! Don't tell me I never give you any useful advice

One is the normal one, whitch I would expect for 90 percent of guys. And the inside of my head, my mind. I guess if it didnt work inside my head I wouldnt subscribe to this site. But my nipples, I just dont get it. A woman who I hang out with for that one little thing missing in both our single lives, sex. Seems almost sensitive everywhere, maybe super so. Everything about her is conected to between her legs and sometimes to her toes. And this isnt only at climax its all the way to it or with out it. I find it amazing. And I joke to her that I am getting the short end of the pleasure stick.

The universe is unfolding as it should, and so are the girls on ISM. I love them all.

No, I'm pretty much the same way. Stimulation will make my nipples stand up, but they have no sensivity worth mentioning. If fact, yes, they get irritated easily.

My finger nails have no sensitivity - I can stroke them scratch them, lick them - nothing - not the slightest sign of any feeling whatsoever but surely irritation is an indication of sensitivity even though it may not be the expected sensation.
I find that the nerve endings in my nipples are as prone to variation in sensitivity as my other nerve ending and it has a lot to do with who is providing the stimulation. There are a few ladies who can highten the sensitivity of my whole body with just a touch on my hand or face, whilst others have no effect at all.
I don't think it is a case of how and what is being done but rather who, when and where.

I agree. Sometimes stimulation to my nipples is irritating, and sometimes it feels really good. It depends a lot on the context. I've also heard that this varies from guy to guy.

It definitely varies from man to man, as it does with girls, because, of course, some girls aren't into having their nipples played with either. I had a boyf who loved it, but I can't remember any others really being into it.

Mine hurt when its really cold out, otherwise little sensation.
Another thing women do to men that translates poorly is light tongue flicking on the glans. Yeah, works a whole lot better on a clitoris. It tells me what she likes, but I don't spoil her enthusiasm and suggest she stop toying and really get to it!
What she does to my nipples, like the above BJ thing has greatest value in telling me what she likes.

That flicking works great if you've got a fore skin. I've often pondered having a circumcision because my foreskins a bit phimotic (a portion of it is tight and needs regular stretching so you can have sex without discomfort) but I've never done it because even though stretching is a bit of a chore, the sensitivity and pleasure you get from the foreskin is fabulous. That flicking on the end of the foreskin or ridge band, really is gorgeous. I wonder if anyone else who's uncircumcised agrees with me.

Definately! I've always thought it was cruel to circumcise infants, because circumcised men miss out on SO MUCH!

This is potentially a touchy subject, depending upon your beliefs, but it does remind me of the one and only episode of "Friends" that I ever watchd, where there was a discussion on whether the women preferred a matt or a gloss finish. I thought that was quite a poetic and internationally acceptable way of addressing the circumcised/uncircumsised issue.

What is the religous significance of being circumcised. I've never really understood it.

God came down and told Abraham he had to. Then an infuriated God decided to kill Moses for not performing it on his first son within the specified time period from birth ( I think it's 8 days), so Moses' wife saved the day by quickly performing the ritual genital mutilation with abit of jagged rock and rubbed the bloody bit of skin on gods feet (though it is suspected that was a euphemism for genitals) and God then stopped trying to kill his chosen prophet. (see Exodus)

Like all religous myths (or practices) it is a way of telling people how to live. It was believed a circumcised child was less likely to get sores and infections.
The Bible fibids adultry. It prevents the spread of disease and maintains the social order.
A better example is probably sex within the family. It had a high incidence of sickly or deformed babies. It must be God's curse, therefore it is forbidden. A lot of our "social morals" today comes from what was not understood back then. Espacially that woman-woman, men-men thing.

I love it when boys have sensitive nippples! I started off my sexual life sleeping with girls so I think I'll always get a little sad when a partner doesn't enjoy nipple stimulation...it's just so much FUN for me.
My current boy sometimes really enjoys it and sometimes gets irritated by it. Just depends on his body's reactions at the time.

i never realized that one would have to stretch the foreskin out before sex to make it comfortable. i'm assuming it's just because every foreskin is a different amount of tissue? i sadly was not exposed to the intact penis until within the last year or so. i'm an american, and apparently circumcision is more prevalent there. but foreskins are wonderful things. i appreciate the extra texture. i read a few months ago about the process of stretching the skin of a circumcised penis to "create" a foreskin, because some men feel really uncomfortable with having been cut. there's a guy who has a photographic timeline on the web. has anyone else seen anything like this? i thought it was really interesting, and it really adds another dimension to the discussion of the gendered body and biological ideals.

As far as I know, my hubby never has to stretch his foreskin.
I used to get so much out of nipple stimulation, SO much. Then, one day, it sort of...just...didn't do anything for me anymore. Weird. That was years ago actually. I miss it often!

Genital mutilation of both men and women is basically religious or cultural. Whatever the modification, some cultures consider it normal while another could be horrified. Doctors in the States promoted it for cleanliness as some parents may be uncomfortable washing their children under the foreskin; and its extra profit paid for by insurance. Some adult men have a circumcision instead of having to streach the foreskin opening - at least they get anestetic.
I wish I still had my forskin - lasting forever isn't always good. I'm not about to hang weights like a grandfather clock, however.

I've never heard of having to stretch the foreskin before. I've never had any trouble with mine. I could see that might make things a bit uncomfortable, but I couldn't imagine living without mine.

This is the point, isn't it? Circumcision almost always happens in babyhood, so those of us who are circumcised will never know what it feels like to be uncircumcised or vice versa. We can never know if it's better or worse otherwise. Adults who get circumcised almost invariably do so to relieve pain, so presumably they're happy. So it's like asking whether sex is better for women or men. We'll never, ever know!

Nuh-uhh...I saw I think it was Phil Donahue (a talk show) once and he had a man and a woman on, married to each other, who had both gotten sex changes (!) and so he asked each of them, which way is sex better? They both said "as a woman". So there. Now we know.

There is a cosmetic alternative to circumcision for a phimotic foreskin. It's called a Preputioplasty and involves simply loosening the tight part surgically. I'm currently considering it. Paediatric circumcision isn't favoured by doctors now, and the advice is to NEVER (and they always put it in capitals) try and retract a babies foreskin, but leave it alone. The child will then retract it himself between the ages of 3 to 12.

Auroya, I like your problem solving skills, I'm glad that has been settled, you see they have known this for 3000 years, it's in the ancient greek myths too, that's why they've had the shits with us for so long.
but on the topic of MTF transexuals, we can not recreate the pure genius of nature that is a clitoris, so even a man turned into a woman can't know how fucking great that little nub is. Need I remind you it has at least ten times more nerve endings than a penis.

On that basis, is there any wonder that little girls nonchalantly play with themselves more than little boys do!
Hell, if I had that many nerve endings in the (approx) 15 sq cm of my penis head I'd be afraid to even touch it, just in case it went off without warning!!!!!
