Let me tell you a little bit more about myself, my name is Ophelia and I originate from the UK but have grown up most my life travelling from country to country, I like to think myself as a gipsy child, what a wonderful way of life, young, wild and free and that is just the way I want to stay. This idea of eternal youth and the free take on life is what i tried to portray in my shoot and I try to take this around with me everywhere I go because life is a gift and If we have the greatest gift of life in our hands why not show the world how happy we are to live it!
My main reason for posting this apart from thank you you all a thousand times over for your lovely comments is that I would like to hear some ideas of what you want to see on this site? Is their new and enchanting ideas that are tucked away in the minds of our members ? Also how did you first here about I shot myself ? I'm really intrigued on how people come across these sites. Is there anything missing from erotic porn that you have yet to see in full swing? Tell me everything haha!
xoxo

Hey Ophelia:) May I be the first to welcome you to the forum!! Really excited to see your message, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts (I loved reading your post) & for starting what is going to be such a fun discussion:):)
I loved how you described how you like to think of yourself as being a gypsy child, young, wild & free & the desire to never lose that beautifully utopian free spirit. I found that really inspiring & it's an ideal I hope I never lose too & I try every day to dream beyond the constraints that every day existence tries to put on us. Here's to eternal youth & the gift of life!! Your shoot really encapsulated those beautiful ideals & really felt to me like a physical & artistic expression of your beautiful free spirit & embracing of life & through that it really made me feel alive too...I thought your folio was amazing!!:)
I loved how you shot outdoors in public, I find shoots like yours so exciting (for example, I thought the shots you took in the car were amazing!!) & after thinking about it lots, I think it's because it makes my imagination race thinking about how I'd feel in that situation & I find the thought of being caught so thrilling so in answer to your question about what ideas are tucked away in the mind, I'd have to say that I think a lot about shoots where the contributor feels excitement from that danger of being caught too.
I find it really fascinating hearing how others came to discover ISM too. For me it was through being a member of another site & finding out that a lot of people on there had also submitted to ISM & so I was really intrigued to find out what it was & when I found it I fell in love with the whole philosophy of what ISM represents, how empowering it is & how incredibly privileged it makes me feel to be able to share in some small way in the wonderful experiences that people have through sharing their photos & everything that represents for them. It sends out such a wonderful message about body confidence that particularly in the world around us today is so important & so powerfully transformative.
Loved reading your thoughts Ophelia & it's great to see you here in the forum:)

Ophelia, indeed, you ask interesting questions and your own comments are most welcomed.
I discovered ISM in looking for a web site that was not nihilistic or misogynistic AND wasn't confined to a narrow offering of age and of body type AND that didn't have only images "post processed" to make the women appear to be "flawless " in looks and with blank biographies. ISM accomplishes what I was looking for simply by letting the women speak for themselves. And to varying degrees, I find almost all of the presentations are appealing in one or another way.
What I would like to see more of is discussion between the contributors--not to the exclusion of the members of course. Many of the contributors seem quite interesting and the little that is revealed in the folio statements and profiles is just a tease. I also appreciate the mix of erotic and non-erotic that reveals more of the human--such as the recent discussion of organic farming and gardening or the contributor who talked about her love for the viola (I also play the viola).
To be continued....

Hi Ophelia! Sorry for replying so late. Everyone at Feck has been really impressed with your shoots, you have an excellent innate sense of how to tease and how to capture the best images of yourself. I especially loved your duet - its intimate, laid back feel and the obvious love between your and your boyfriend make it very special. I feel privileged to have a small glimpse into your life and sexuality.
Your duet touched on something I would really like to see more of in erotica - well made photos and videos of straight amateur guys. ISM and IFM cover women like this exceptionally well but I haven't found anything equivalent that features more men. Anyway, I understand that this is because straight men are the main customers of erotic websites and so drive demand, and my reluctance to pay for porn (and almost everything) available on the internet doesn't help the situation. It just... it would be nice to see. I wish that men were as comfortable with seeing men naked as women are with seeing women naked... In fact, most women prefer lesbian porn over heterosexual porn. There was a cosmo article about it recently http://www.cosmopolitan.com/sex-love/ne … bian-porn/.
Anyway, I'm interested to know more about you. Of all the places you've travelled, could you pick a favourite? What would be your ideal place to live? How are your studies going?

Hello Orphelia! I just had a look at your folio and it is so great and so beautiful. I definitely agree with Devochka, you have the art of the tease down pat. It's super exciting seeing you on ISM

This is something I actually think about quite often! Generally speaking, I think it's typically a lot more socially acceptable for women to explore their sexuality with other women and be open about being attracted to other women while still identifying as "straight". Probably to do a lot with how highly fetishized lesbian and girl/girl sexuality has been for so long. But I sometimes wonder if in actual fact, their are a lot more men who might be curious in exploring their sexuality in relation to other men, whether it be through a direct sexual encounter or just watching gay porn, but it's seen as "wrong" and "gay" for men who identify as straight to engage in this kind of sexual experimentation (even though there is actually nothing wrong with being gay!!). I think you can gain quite a bit when engaging in sexual acts with someone of the same sex - my sexual interactions with women are always so so different to those with men. I find them insightful and I tend to gain a lot of perspective somehow. And I always find I spent so much time in awe of another womans body when I'm with her! So I find it sad that while the world is accepting gay men more than ever, it's still not okay for straight men to engage in any remotely "gay" activity (generally speaking, I know a lot of people who actually wouldn't care, I'm mostly referring to what I think is a wider world view). Sorry to derail this thread!! I also hope that made sense because it is 1000 degrees outside and I might have heat stroke.

Elsa! Your dinner party hostess video is going up this saturday over on IFM ^.^ I just listened to you talk about how you ended up with your lady friend one tequila-fueled night... such a hot story!

Yes I totally agree I am always in awe whenever I see another naked woman. I just want to spend so much time looking at every inch of skin, tracing lines with my fingers, finding out how squishy each part is. I really felt this way when I was with you - I kinda wanted to make a beautiful drawing or painting of you.
Yeah, I wish it was more socially acceptable for guys to experiment with other guys as well. I think things are slowly getting better, people like the Warwick rowers are helping. I read an article about this Sex Festival in Sydney where one of the activities was to explore the bodies of people who you normally wouldn't be attracted to, the male author was paired with another man. You can read it here http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle … MP=soc_567.
Sorry to go off topic Ophelia, still very interested in hearing what you have to say

Interesting article, Devochka. Thank you for the Guardian link.
Intrigued by your observations, I made a cursory search of Internet sites of male erotica. As it was so cursory, I don't think it rises above anecdotal evidence; however, my observations are that, even sites attracting straight men in addition to gay men, are almost entirely focused on hardcore erotica, which is to say the erect penis--most often to the exclusion of any other part of the male anatomy. Their forums also lack female participation or any discussion other than highly charged sexually.
Then again, how many erotic websites go "off topic" as frequently as Feck's? Yesterday, Artemesia was waxing poetic about pastries. The contributors, members and staff generally present themselves as fully three-dimensional people. For me at least this is much more truly erotic.
I love also that the discussions are open to both sexes and that niceness, respect, openness, and playfulness are always maintained. It's all very civilised.

<3 <3 I could have very easily spent all afternoon with you, doing just that! I love how especially intimate it feels just laying in bed with another women, naked and spooning and giggling. We should have a life modelling area at our party, where whoever is in the mood can model and people can draw!
In regards to what Trevor is saying about male erotica, it seems like the people (men) who produce it mainstream porn seem to be under the impression that other men have no room for any other connection aside from the physical when it comes to erotica.
I agree with you Trevor! The potential for contributors and members to learn so much about each other via the forums and the structure and process of the shoots was a big drawing card for my involvement with Feck.
Viva, it's nice to know you liked my sexy story featuring my lady friend I got very nervous telling it because I was so shy speaking to the camera! But I'm slowly getting better at the talking bit.
