I dont supposes thers been any thougt to sizing some of the photos to a good size for wallpapers and backgrounds?

Why don't you go and grap "GIMP for Windows" from their website http://www.gimp.org and you can resize and reshape the lovely ladies images to your hearts content!

Your OS doesn't automatically rescale wallpapers to fit?

The photos are 1024x768, which should fit the 4x3 aspect ratios of most screens (except for the 768x1024 ones, which would need to be rotated). That's also a common screen resolution for a lot of monitors.
