Oh man I just saw this. It's nice those protests were peaceful, shame the police and the state wasn't. Real shame for the folk who got the shit kicked out of them. Stuff like what happened in gezi park makes me glad i live somewhere where sometimes it is possible to make the state accountable for kicking the shit out of you (and then they pay you for the privledge of having done so, then you go and buy boats and organise a massive convoy through the centre of australia and raise conciousness amongst the interior through to the coast about Indonesia's illegal occupation in West Papua...)

Great links Artemesia! They're both really interesting. When I first saw that photo of Deborah de Robertis I thought it was some incredible IFM shoot... probably because of all the pubes. I like her rationale behind her actions.
