Side affects for Viagra - headaches, dizziness, indigestion. Side affects for Lybrido - infidelity, nymphomania, societal splintering.
FFS. I wonder how many 'experts' in that room were actually women!

Been following this on reddit, where I got it from. And someone has pointed out that viagra just effects the nature of blood circulation, but lybrido effects the brain and it's motivation and decision making. So could be used as a date rape drug.
"did some digging. There are actually TWO drugs being developed by this company: Lybrido and Lybridos (I'm sure that will never lead to any confusion). The first is for women who have trouble responding to sexual cues and it's basically just a combination of Viagra and testosterone. The second one is specifically for women who have trouble responding to sexual cues because of past negative experiences with sex ("maladaptive sexual inhibitory mechanisms"). It's a combination of testosterone and a drug that's normally used to treat anxiety disorders (Buspirone). It does effect the dopamine system of the brain (the system that can lead to compulsive behaviors when it gets out of wack), so that may well be the problem."
" The second one is specifically for women who have trouble responding to sexual cues because of past negative experiences with sex ("maladaptive sexual inhibitory mechanisms")" Oh dear wouldn't talking be better, or perhaps a combination of the 2. Or masturbation technique. Then there are the side effects. What seems promising could be a rerun in some way of the anti depressant thing. or relying on a pshycotropic drug to fall into line with a male notion of sex that you don't find satisfying.
Sexual fantasy that results in orgasm actually is a form of self hypnosis. I wonder if before taking a drug people should try that approach or at least look at Dods and Ross or ask anyone who properly cares rather than just getting paid to prescribe.
