She is hotter but why have they positioned her arms like she's ready to draw a gun. My arms rest at my side. I don't even walk about with my arms tensed out like that and if I did I'd look like I was doing a gorilla impression, it's something seriously insecure men do to assert their macho.   It looks like a conscious attempt by the dolls makers to do the opposite to the actual barbie arms.  If I was a little girl I wouldn't buy the realistic doll  because of the arms. If her arms were positioned realistically at rest, she would  sell, rather than being just a protest. One drawback is, it looks like the new model uses the same amount of plastic so has to be much shorter and scaled smaller.

Be nice to make dolls who are a group of friends, with a range of natural bodies and individual bios. Kids will likely want to collect them all rather than just buy one That would more than make up for the extra plastic used in making her body dimensions realistic with the same average hight scale as the old barbie.

Also she should be made of a hard preform/skeleton covered in soft plastic, like flesh. Then she could wear leggings and get rid of that awful robot crotch
