I haven't had a new tattoo in forever, and I'm really looking forward to getting some work done/ Mainly to start that conversation with myself about growth, where I'm at and where I wanna go in the future.
So i'm curious about favourite tattoo's that peeps have seen on the sites, and favourite tattoo artists in general. Why do we enjoy tattoo's on others soooo much? Why do we enjoy the repetition of images enough that we want to carry them forever (ie popculture icons and old-school style tattoo's)?

Oh wow, what a site! I just love number 9! Combining negative space, and abstract prints... sigh some people are just so creative....
i like the idea of tebori shading techniques...
ohhh imagine such a love for typography such as this
i think i'd like to just paint this kinda stuff on myself for a once-off but forever ever?

what finger did it go on Eris?
i'm one of those people that ascribe meaning to everything. i like the moles on my body because i feel like they're a constellation and i always figure if a person gets a tattoo somewhere, that particular part of the body needs attention... All my lovers who are tattooed know that of me i suppose. To me, the idea of tattooing is; where the moment, and the scar, and intention come together to forge something onto your skin forever. So beautiful.
oh, and the yakuza style of tatt's, where it's only obvious after clothes come off?? priceless...

ps just above the submit button, where it says 'BBCode' click that link and it'll give you a guide of how to post pictures (they need to be hosted externally and you use a lil bit of coding to get them up) ie [img]blah blah (the link) and[/img]
pps on the other hand eris, you should probably just do another shoot! your last shoot was soy pretty!

My tattoos (check my primary folio: http://ishotmyself.com/public/view_gall … ?g=plumage to see them!) were all done by the same artist, Kat Scarlet.
She's a beautiful woman who lives with her partner and two kiddies in Preston and works out of a gorgeous little health department approved studio.
Every time I get tattooed by her she completely blows me away.
Her art, style and her ability to keep me sane while I'm getting poked and prodded for hours (but I do like the pain... a LOT) is incredible and as soon as I'm tattooed I'm ready for the next one!
Check out her Facebook page and see what you think

Wow, she's very skilled. I think I see some of yours on her facebook page too . They remind me of Anastassia's armpit tattoos, but I dare say I prefer the look of yours.

I LOVE THIS WEBSITE!!:
I can't wait to put my tattoo on there... meanwhile I find comfort in the fact that only one other person (on this site at least) has the same quote as my tattoo, and it's in English, and the translation is... not excellent. It doesn't flow and I don't like the cherry blossoms ;p
however I absolutely ADORE this other Neruda tattoo.. WOW
