Hi, I'm new here :)

Hello everyone!  I would just like to introduce myself.  I'm Kohen from the U.S.  My first folio went up yesterday and I'm very excited to be a part of this website.  I'm working on my third folio right now.  I have seen some very amazing folios from the ladies here and I hope to get a better camera soon because they take amazing pictures and I am inspired by the women here.  I hope to become a part of the community here and hopefully you will like my pictures.

I have no idea what camera I should get.  I don't have the money right now but I'd like a pretty decent digital SLR, possibly a Nikon or Cannon.  I have to do some research before I make my final decision.

I use a Nikon D50 - you can get them quite cheap as they stopped making them (but all the lenses etc they make still fit) cheaper than the less powerful D40 and not as expensive as the cooler D80 and above...

I've got a Canon 50D which I am absolutely in love with. It was pretty pricey, however, but I've heard good things about the cheaper Canon SLRs as well. Really, it's more important to get good lenses. From what I've been told, it's a bit more affordable to get good, affordable Canon lenses but I was told that by a diehard Canon fan so... yeah!

Oh but my only folio up currently (under the name "Nio") was done with a borrowed Nikon and it was quite nice. I've a folio coming up at some point that I did with my Canon 50D... though it was done when I had only just gotten the 50D and I like to think I've improved since then, ha!
