New tattoo plans

Hi guys.

You might remember me from the last 5 folios I have posted, that I seem to get more ink as time goes on...

I have 4 tattoos right now. And I want another, maybe 2, maybe 3... this might be a problem...

What do you guys think of the ink so far? My plan is to get a full backpiece done with two stylised almost egyptian style winged cats sitting at the base so the wings go up my shoulderblades... what do you think? Is skin better than ink? How many tattoos is too many for me?

Never too much ink! And you shouldn't let other's opinions stop you getting what you want.  You are the one who has to live with it!  That sounds like an interesting idea.  Do you have a particular affinity for Egyptian history/mythology?

I have always loved egyptian mythology, wings and cats in general... The cats would be egyptian style pose but not drawing style... I have a mock up, it is based on a drawing an artist I met did and I then changed a lot. I am quite nervous as I designed my other tattoos myself from scratch and this will be the first time I get someone elses art on me. Also the first picture rather than tribal pattern - but nerve wracking!

Hi Alisha, I've just had another one of my really brilliant ideas! that would make 10 million dollars but I probably need half a million to do it.

Why can't we print pixel tight colour photographic tattoos on to skin like we ink jet onto paper. A lazer could scan the area to be tattooed and 3 ultra violet dots placed on the skin would let 3 camera's track the slight movement of the subject in real time. So now the robot tattoo arm knows what and where to tattoo, it could just scan across the 3D surface. It would be like printing a photo on a cake

Also if I had tats every 7ish years I'd  lazer the outer edges right back over several treatments to clear skin and then re-ink them so they have a new crisp edge and the tat is the same size as before.

Wow! I'm an expert! and I haven't got any tats.

How do I put pictures into my posts...?

Try following the steps in the link below but use Photobucket instead of imageshack.
or just follow the steps here and switch to photobucket to host your pics
when you know what your doing. It's just that photobucket is better

Tattoo plans cancelled!!! Due to severe lack of money...

I lost a job I really wanted which looses me a few thousand pounds I was relying on for the next 3-4 months. The woman who was going to hire me also ran off with my original notes and brainstorming of ideas for her logo as well and says her mate is going to do the work for free - I think I just had my first experience of being ripped off.

Why are people so mean?

Yeah that seems to work

Right click on the image on your site and click 'open image in new window' and the address to put between your [img]'s will be there.

Hey sorry to hear about that, but as you've never met her friend the client has broken the continuity of the project and the likelihood is your ideas will be screwed up. It doesn't take much fiddling to ruin a good design. lets hope that's what happens.

I wouldn't have minded if she hadnt ignored my emails for ages... she took weeks to actually even tell me I had lost the work, then was quite rude about it
