More Master Baiting

I was going to tag this on to Scotty's thread,  but since it has gotten so long,  I'll start a new one.

What initiates you?  Is it ritual:  "Oh, it's 10am coffee break,  time to pull a boner".

Or is it this site:  "Damn!  Liandra's got me folded over again.  I gotta go squeeze off a shot"

Or is it a magazine; the secretary up front; your knead-it girl; Playboy; last night's stripper; aliens;  sheep auctions; blow-up dolls; etc.

And here's a tantalizing question:  Do you switch partners in the middle of your agony and finish with somebody/something other than you started with?

I'm a 'firm' believer in use it or lose it! So I try to make time to shake mine... so there is a bit of ritual. From there it usually starts from my most recent chart toppers but then I probably refer back to the 'classics' to finish of the set so to speak!... so the answer is Yes.
Hope no one minds the color and font, I enjoy the feature!

for me it starts with a certain manic feeling in the air, like a whiff of spring in winter. or if my wife calls and she says something sexy to me but i KNOW there's no chance that night w/ the kids home & all.

sometimes it's because i was just assigned a BIG design project at work and it helps me to find my Chi and balance... you know without resorting to drugs, which i tryyyy to avoid... (pseudoephedrine & dextromethorphan at a high dose puts me in the "state")

It's an evening ritual for me.  It helps me fall asleep!  Every night I brush my teeth, undress, crawl in bed and...well, you know the rest.
As far as what "get's er done" -- I think about my lady friend.  God, she's amazing in bed and has a great body....

Like Zim, masturbation for me is usually a bed-time ritual.  I've always had real problems with insomnia, but if I have a nice orgasm or two, I can usually fall asleep in the throes of afterglow...

I always always always have a sexual fantasy in my mind.  I usually get on a theme and it lasts for a week or so, but I do have some old favorites that resurface now and again, like tentacle monsters!

I don't generally get off to visual porn (or art) but it will definitely make me think, "Hmmm, now I'm horny -- time for me to masturbate (or find a willing body....)  What I have and do masturbate to is pornographic stories, the kinkier the better!  I really love Vicotorian erotica!

For that reason I also find the written word more enticing than visual images but I understand that most males find visual images more stimulating. Is this an indication of a lack of imagination, or is it a substitution process where the viewer imagines themself in the visualisation? I don't know because visual images don't arouse strong sexual urges in me. Sensual maybe but not sexual.

You are correct.  I find written material far better, as it stimulates my imagination.  The problem with photos, especially 'porn' is that the photo subject often projects all the human warmth of a glossy magazine page just out of the freezer.  Photos freeze the imagination - making the imagined person to now look like 'the photo' rather than my fave body shape/hair colour and so forth.  As well, the writer can suggest reaction and feelings far better than any photo.
