"I've recently moved to a new place and it's the first time I've been tasked with making a home. There's no lease. No cheap, temporary furniture. I'm nesting. And this is my most nested room. This is my favorite room. The sun spills in through a giant glass sliding door and I feel so safe and happy. In this shoot, rest assured I'm not only looking my best (ha!) but feeling my best. I hope the warmth of that golden light is palpable; I hope that happiness is palpable. I wanted to keep shooting indefinitely, and I kept feeling challenged to experiment more and push my comfort zone. It was quite a powerful and exhilarating feeling, 100% from within. And while the perfectionist in me could spend at least another week shooting this folio, I'm pretty content with the outcome. There was something new to discover in each shot, like seeing myself for the first time again and again and again."
