In literature, the lily has often be relegated to a shy position as a symbol of chastity, when in fact the flower is overwhelmingly sexual - strongly scented and lusciously formed. Fortunately a nouveau sexy Shakespere is re-sensualising the world, starting with a lush bunch of Lilium Candidum.
