ARTISTS STATEMENT

I found it interesting how much easier it is to expose myself knowing that my audience is out there somewhere. I wanted to photograph myself in a phone box but it challenged my comfort zone and my ethical boundaries and raised the question - How public am I really being? How subversive is my art? How willing am I to challenge the status quo on public nudity? I have expressed myself within a box. Maybe one day I will reach beyond my conceptual limitations and express myself outside the box. Great project though. It really made me think.
