"I shot this in my beautiful bedroom in the morning hours. Thank the universe for the sunshine. I'd like to think that my bedroom is my mind and soul on the walls. At the start I was struggling a bit, thinking how would I bring my true essence into these photographs. Once I got started though, the creative flow came through and I found it extremely healing and exciting. I've had some trauma in the past with nude photos and my nude self in general, I had been thinking about participating in this project for years now and I'm so happy I did. I feel re-in touch with a part of myself that I lost. It's also really refreshing to see how beautiful and expressive my body can be and is. I feel reengaged with myself, empowered and confident. Deep wounds and anxieties I've had for years that plagued me, I can now lay to rest and truly blossom from now. I'm enthusiastic for the new doors and journeys this will open for my soul and heart as a creative human."
