ARTISTS STATEMENT

I was hesitant for many years. With deep past wounds connected to nude photographs that had taken a hold of my heart. I felt trapped in my psyche. I heard about I Shot Myself and was so curious. The organisation being so open and transparent. One of their biggest values being comfortability. Making sure that you were to one in complete control. I've always loved being naked and expressing my naked self, always been curious about the "forbidden" beauty. So I used this project as a way to heal myself and allow myself to come back to my creative heart space. I didn't want to feel trapped and stagnant anymore. I really wanted to allow myself the freedom again, because it isn't bad to express yourself nakedly and ISM helped me get back to that happy place. Also our bodies change over time and I think I am in a really beautiful place mentally, emotionally and physically with my body. I wanted to capture this time in my life. This transformative, passionate and adventurous time, because as much as I hope to keep this mindset for the rest of my life. I try not to take anything for granted. So I appreciate this time and I hope (I know I will) look back on this time in my life and be so thankful I did it.

Most outrageous thing I have done: So many things, I swear my existence brings outrageous times. 69ing with my ex boss's nephew in the room I was most likely conceived in and then the walk of shame because my boss busted us
