ARTISTS STATEMENT

The female form is so beautiful and dynamic in all the soft sensual undulations, positive and negative spaces which create a visual tension of intrigue, a story. I have always enjoyed nudity, having lived in California for 26 years in a small community and swimming naked in the local lakes, rivers, the sea. My grounding is swimming naked in the sea, I come to a very deep intimate place, a deep core, freedom. This project enabled me to experience this in the context of the urban environment, my creative instincts expressing in a boundless play. I had a lot of fun!

Most outrageous thing I have done: Sleeping on the ground at Abu Simbal Egypt, where no other tourist could have permission to be, the sunrise was unforgettable.
Bands I like: John Lennon, he was pivotal, a genius in his time, timeless.
Books I like: The Outlander series. If you want sensual, sexual, well researched history, this is the book.
Films I like: Dead Poets Society, what more can I say, Robin Williams is emotional medicine.
