ARTISTS STATEMENT

Thinking back on my childhood, and trying to think of a point where I have been proud of my body & explore my sexuality safely, I can't think of one. I have always been taught that others find my body sexual, yet also shameful & should always be covered. Many years of hiding under clothes I've finally realized that I should be proud of my body in all its uniqueness & special ways. Now I finally see myself as artistic & beautiful. My idols are strong, intelligent & sexy women confident in themselves & their own choices.My idols are Dita Von Teese, Joan of Arc, Angelina Jolie, Freelee the banana girl & Sasha Grey. I am an example of being proud of my body in its own right. I see too much body shaming, when instead we should be celebrating how beautiful everyone is. I am completely confident with my body & promise to never feel ashamed of it again. Thank you ISM for allowing me to do so for a good cause.
