ARTISTS STATEMENT

I love photography and I love the creative element of it, playing around with the subject, the light and experimenting with the camera's settings and discovering the results. I found out about I Shot Myself, and I was intrigued. I had some spare time so I researched a bit and got more information. At first I wasn't sure about the nudity component but the more I thought about it, the more it interested me and the ideas started forming in my mind at an incredible rate! I had to do it! Taking my clothes off in front of the lens was easy, I was comfortable as I was in complete control. It was a really enjoyable project which I'd like to take further.
