ARTISTS STATEMENT

I grew up in a family where nudity was the most normal, natural thing. Following in the footsteps of my mother and two older sisters, I started doing life modelling as soon as I turned 18, and continued to work as a life model for artists to support myself while at uni. In a world where women are constantly objectified, disrespected and disempowered, modelling for me has been a wonderful way to respectfully celebrate my naked body through the simple appreciation of the beauty of the human form. I really appreciated the opportunity to express this independently through ISM. It felt good to decide how I wanted to present myself and appreciate the work ISM is doing.

biggest passion in my life: I just love learning and love being inspired about making revolutionary changes in the world.
I like to listen to: I love r'n'b, reggae, and all sorts of music. To dance tp, I LOVE hip hop and dancehall.
I like to watch: insects, they are the most incredible creatures.
I like to smell: peoples natural body odour.
I like to taste: rich, hearty stews full of bone marrow, yum!
I like to feel: dappled sunlignt on my skin when I'm sitting in quiet, lush rainforest.

Most outrageous thing I have done: Rode around on a bmx, wasted at a festival, purposefully stacking cause it was sooo much fun!
