ARTISTS STATEMENT

Als Visual Artist erlebe ich die Welt hauptsaechlich in Bildern. Ich liebe es die Schoenheit in allem zu entdecken – sei es in der Natur, der Kunst oder am menschlichen Koerper. Nichts ist vollkommen, doch gerade diese zufaellige Unvollkommenheit macht die Dinge interessant und einzigartig. Meine Einstellung gegenueber den Makeln des Lebens und der positive Umgang mit ihnen laesst mich lebendig und authentisch fuehlen. Auch Mutter Natur ist keine Perfektionistin, sondern hat hier und da ueber den Rand gemalt – doch genau fuer diese einzigartigen Ausrutscher liebe ich sie. As a visual artist, I experience the world mainly in pictures. I love to discover the beauty in everything – whether in nature, in art or on the human body. Nothing is perfect, but this random imperfection makes things interesting and unique. My attitude about the flaws of life and positive dealings with them lets me feel alive and authentic. Even Mother Nature is not a perfectionist, but has now and then painted over the edge – but just for this unique slip-up, I love it.
