ARTISTS STATEMENT

I felt it would be a really liberating experience taking naked photos of myself. Something I can look back on when I'm old and say "Damn I looked good, I'm glad I made the most of being young!" I also felt it would help me accept and learn to feel comfortable in my own skin. I was quite nervous at first, but once I got into it I really enjoyed myself. As I'm also starting photography, so this was a great opportunity to learn how to get the picture I was after and if I could make this work. Now I will have a better understanding of working with models and seeing how they feel and look in the photos. I can happily tick this off my bucket list!

biggest passion in my life: Animal welfare.
I like to listen to: the ocean and the waves washing up on the beach, and the rainforest while trekking.
I like to smell: patchouli in the mornings, freshly cooked bread and storms building. You know rain is on the way!
I like to taste: spicy foods, chocolate and warm soup on freezing cold days.
I like to feel: weightless when swimming in the ocean then that combination of sun and sand on your skin afterwards.
favourite part of my body: My hands because they show wisdom.
favourite part of someone else's body: I think shoulders are quite sexy.
Why i shot myself: I think when I'm old it'll be a liberating experience to look back on and it's a boost to my confidence.
who I'd least like to see shoot themselves: My dad. Haha!
who I'd most like to see shoot themselves: Johnny Depp (of course).
Bands I like: Flying Lotus and Waxx Tailor, both different and amazing.
