ARTISTS STATEMENT

I remember the first time I went nude on the beach, it was in Mexico 15 years ago. I immediately felt connected to all the elements around me and felt so comfortable in my body. I remember how beautiful everyone else's naked bodies seemed regardless of age, shape or size. This project was an experiment for me to see I could could explore my sexuality even though I have found it hard to love and accept my changing physical body as it gets older. As the project went on, any judgements I had of myself were erased by the simple fact that it just seemed so natural and primal to be naked.
