ARTISTS STATEMENT

With the prominence of the media and the internet in our society, the 'ideal look' is billboarded and publicized causing many to feel ashamed of their bodies, embarrassed by nudity and reluctant to fully express themselves. But instead, people should feel comfortable and, even more so, proud of their naked selves. The freedom afforded by the internet should be used as a means of exploration and expression instead of something that makes people feel ashamed. Nudity, in any form, is beautiful, and should be viewed in this way.

Why i shot myself: I wanted to explore nudity in a creative way and the philosophy behind the project sounded really cool.
