ARTISTS STATEMENT

This feels like my first opportunity to create art. I have always loved photography and wished I could create something unique and valuable. I feel that with this project I am really pushed to be creative. Through these shots, I have created art with my body as a canvas, and it has been really exciting. I love the idea of each person defining what's appealing for themselves. My participation in this project is my contribution to a celebration of the beauty of the human form and the capacity for human creativity.

Most outrageous thing I have done: I basically partied with local Panamanians in the back of a chicken bus at 10 in the morning.

Books I like: Atlas Shrugged, Da Vinci Code, and Les Miserables.
Films I like: What the Bleep Do We Know!?, Moulin Rouge, Stranger than Fiction.
