ARTISTS STATEMENT

After taking the photos, the first thing I noticed was how happy I was with a few of them. The self control and independence lets you work at your own pace, which made me feel more comfortable. This made me get the most expressive images I could and even made it a truly enjoyable experience. As a photographer, it was not so much about the nudity, but the art which is why I am so at ease with knowing others will see it. I even showed them to my friends. Knowing some of the money goes to charity makes it even more of a worthwhile opportunity. I would love to try again to push myself to create some different and original takes on the project.
