ARTISTS STATEMENT

Whenever a lover has asked to take a picture or film of me, I've always obstinately refused. What if someone sees it? I would worry. Having people see my body was such an issue for me then, and still is for so many people. My best friend was the one who changed my mind. She has this curvy, voluptuous body and I could see others being drawn to it, mesmerised. I wanted to have that effect on people too. Once I awakened my sexuality, I could feel this weight being lifted off my chest resulting in freedom and power. I had new appreciation for my body and I hope you will appreciate it too. You have to love yourself before anyone else will. It is vitally important. Don't forget to love yourself.
