ARTISTS STATEMENT

For all the Arrested Development fans out there, I, like Tobias Funke, am a 'never nude', I fear being naked. This project is a personal challenge for me to break out of my shell and do the hardest thing in the world, be naked. I'm not a visual artist, but I felt like this project was a way to do something that is by nature both hidden and exposed simultaneously. Street art requires artists to work under the radar, and in the end create something very public, narcissistic humility. I think it's the same with nudity, it is always hidden from society, but in the end we know it exists so we all just need to deal with it. Even if we are 'never nudes'.
