ARTISTS STATEMENT

I've been super skinny, super proud, curvier, shorter, taller, kinder, meaner, in a controlled relationship, independant, studied feminist/gender studies, subservient, ass-fucked because I got persuaded into it and liked it, hated it, cried, in love, broken hearted. I always thought I was free but it wasn't until I started doing this that I realised I still had a few hang-ups and issues with myself. I hate that we dismantle and compartmentalize our bodies. This taught me that one can be 'one' with oneself, can be free and just because I'm naked it doesn't give you the right to fuck me or even attempt to. Fuck Photoshop and say hello to the sun drenched lanes of suburbia with my matching sun kissed stretch marks. My body as a whole, my body and me, as one. Bring all the pretty flowers, bring the love.
