ARTISTS STATEMENT

This is my second project with Feck. I found the fact that I know very little about photograpy very challenging. Money was not the incentive, I really just wanted to give it a try. Take some time to have a look at myself literally. I was a little shy to begin with but I actually had a really great time. Another motivation for exploring my body in this way was to see my body as it is now and apreciate it. Outside of this project I am persuing a gender transition and over the next year or two my body is going to go through a lot of changes. Really, I just want to take time to apreciate myself through all points of my life.

favourite part of my body: There is alot of things I like about my body but as the result of an accident my left ear is xxsensitive and having it licked drives me insane so it could be my favorite.
favourite part of someone else's body: I mentioned the neck/ collar bones? I love everything except long toenails.
Why i shot myself: To have a look at my body from variant angles and how this may increase my undestanding of myself.
