But then how to think of her - this woman with the mark of three moons at her nape, under the soft twist of her hair in my palm - when she wears the voice of every woman and none at all? Will I name her with my visions? Capture her with sad Atlantic eyes; A fairie spiked with revolution, cupfulls of ocean and daisies for a scorched warrior? Shall I call her difficult, or draw her beauty in devotion? These she has been in the other lives she piles into boxes; faces pieced onto her, as cool and nostalgic as a framed mirror. No, this woman I do not name. For she is at last her own to write across the sky.
